In regards to your tattoo dream and the symbolic impact of it;

Do you have any characters with something akin to cracks on the skin?

I do!! There's Light, who has a gaping hole in her face. However, with her, it's more a reference to her last design, which was a rotting robot...

... HOWEVER, the Gifted Beast characters DO have it part of their curse that their insides are changed. Their blood turns to a white glow that can sprout flowers, and when the gashes are deep enough, it can heal over as their own version of scars - which include cracks in the skin. Sometimes flowers stay stuck in those cracks. It's partly because of the lore of their world, but also my own way of trying to show scars can be delicate and beautiful in some way.

Another shaded full-body commission for @pixyface of @nuidae / @zuhq 's characters. This time, we've got a very uniquely-designed pair of a mother and daughter, Lydia and Nexus! VERY different types of designs to work with. Definitely a learning process, but one I feel very satisfied with in the end. <3

Tsurugi!!!! I met her in a dream and i've been doodling her some since. She told me her name in said dream as well. It felt very special

i don't think those lines are lacerations or cuts but just her heatpits... but they reaaally stretched down far. They looked painful but i knew they weren't.

i like her lots, i hope i see her again
