Any chance we'll get some backstory/flashbacks about what led Zulime to do what she did in chapters 5 and 6?

Not sure exactly what you’re curious about, but she released the rougarou to test/mess with Eliza, and then she tried to take Cliff because he has what she and Eliza have called a “mark” and Zulime thought she could figure out who put it on him and then try to ransom him. She would have used the money to help take care of her circus kid family. That’s sort of just a summary of the chapter, though, so I don’t know if that answers your questions. x_x

Weird question, but how do you pronounce Zulime's name? I've been saying "zoo-leem" in my head, but I realized that you could also pronounce it "zoo-lime" or even "zoo-leem-eh", so. I tried to look it up but google gave me nothin. Thank you, and I hope you have a good day!!!

It’s French/Creole and pronounced ‘zoo-leem’ so you had it right!
