👋🏼We’ve had a wee flurry of new followers so hello to all of you! Quick intro, cause it’s been a while! We are Claire & Julie, sisters from Glasgow who started Paper Street Dolls back in 2015 (you know before pandemics made parties illegal 😬) 🎄We’ve always loved to decorate & after making increasingly elaborate pieces for our own Christmas parties we got asked to help out making decorations for friends weddings & celebrations, they then suggested why not set up an Etsy store to share our love of decor & the rest as they say is herstory! It’s also been a really lovely excuse to work together on something - we both went to art school & studied different subjects, so it’s been fun to combine our skill sets to create something we wanted to see in the world! ✨ We hand make everything in our home studio in Glasgow - designing, painting, marbling, cutting, stitching, styling & photographing everything in house we have always loved the DIY approach 💪🏼 📷 You’ll be hard pushed to find a photo of us on here we’re both just a bit camera shy, one of the rare pics that does exist from a market a few years ago described us as looking like a mashup of A Christmas Carol & Peaky Blinders 😂🤷🏻♀️(we’ll take it - thanks @purehanging ) Pre-COVID we also worked regularly in community arts @claashcollective - like loads of small businesses we have always been incredibly grateful for your support and this year it especially means so much so THANK YOU 😘😘 P.S. These garlands from our Zuzu range were from the 1st Christmas collection we designed 🧡 (at Glasgow, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHkjxnqF9yW/?igshid=1r23c3b8q6psd
