Which pets would the LIs want to have?

Abel

A big dopey dog like a golden retriever or a lab. Something big and silly who loves to play and is relentlessly loyal. He’s definitely a dog person, cats hurt his feelings when they reject affection 🥲

Amalia

A cat that can mostly take care of itself, but that likes affection. She's really busy and wouldn't want a pet that requires a lot of attention because she'd feel bad being unable to give it, so a self-sufficient cat is perfect for her. That said, she would really love her cat and would give it so much affection whenever she's home.

Lincoln

He would love to have a dog again. He had one growing up that he really loved. He'd like a big dog, or a little dog. A hiking companion dog or a lap dog. That being said, he also likes cats. He's very respectful of animals' autonomy and doesn't expect them to trust him just because he expects it, so he's very patient with them and cats usually end up warming up to him pretty quick.

Jocelyn

Either a fluffy cat who just kind of exists alongside her and they respect each other, or a massive dog who goes on her daily runs and hikes with her.

Can we get some fluff Amalia x MC f/f headcanons in this rough and harsh winter?

Ofc dear 🥰 all of these hcs are for after Rowan’s family died.

Amalia gave Rowan a key to her apartment and Rowan would randomly crash when they would go on nearby hunting expeditions. It wasn’t uncommon for Amalia to get up in the morning and see Rowan sprawled out on the couch with dried blood on her shirt. Amalia would just put a blanket over her and get started on breakfast.

Rowan eventually lost said key and ended up climbing in through Amalia’s window. Amalia’s three roommates all knew about Rowan and knew to not ask questions.

Rowan never missed Amalia’s birthday once while she was in college. Rowan always made the trip to Amalia’s school and made her a birthday cake and other things.

Rowan has spent the winter holidays with Amalia’s family every single year since their family died. Amalia’s parents even got Rowan a stocking to hang over their fireplace with Rowan’s name on it. It hangs next to Amalia’s.

Amalia and Rowan always steal each other’s clothes. All. The. Time. It’s gotten to the point where they’ve had actual arguments over what clothes belonged to who originally. Luckily, Amalia keeps receipts and so she almost always wins because she pulls out the records and is like “see I bought these shoes on this day for x amount of money” and Rowan just watches her go all lawyer on her like 🥰

Amalia is Rowan’s personal trainer when they go to the gym. Rowan is not the best student though because she’s constantly distracted by how sexy Amalia is and forgets what she’s doing. Unfortunately, Amalia has definitely been mansplained more than once while at the gym. Dudebros like “hey need some help?” Rowan always pulls out a camera to film Amalia put them in their places. After Amalia puts them in their place, she comes over, takes Rowan’s hand, kisses her and says “let’s go babe.” And Rowan is just like “😍👍 that’s my woman”

Abel

Processing… Processing… Error 404 Abel’s functioning brain not found

He’d go pick you up, and be really quiet all the way back home. Then he’d put you to bed, and wait until the next morning when he’d ask you about the text. Abel believes in being upfront about stuff like this, so he would definitely confront you about it. If you bluffed and said you were drunk he would get very quiet, and be very disappointed. He wouldn’t push you and he’d probably just leave. If you admit you really mean it, then Abel confesses that he feels the same and you proceed to not leave the bed for the next week. Have fun ;)

Amalia

"What the fuck? Oh they're so drunk. They do tend to hit on me when they're wasted. As a joke. Best friends make these kinds of jokes all the time. But what if this isn't a joke. But what if it is. Fuck."

Basically homegirl would fry a few circuits trying to "decode" the message. She would not succeed cause she's already been missing cues for a long period of time already (from weeks to months to years depending on mc). She'd end up saying "You're an idiot. Text me your location so I can pick you up" and pretend she's not thinking about it for the rest of the night. And maybe... just maybe –heart thumping– she'd decide to make the next move herself, to see how MC will react.

Lincoln

He’d stare at it for a long time, feeling excited and nervous and uncertain, and eventually text back “are you ok” When he realizes you’re drunk he’d go pick you up and put you to bed. He’d spend all night pacing around and overthinking and get hardly any sleep. He’d want to bring it up to you, but would be scared because a) what if it wasn’t real and b) what if it was real? He’s scared of letting people in and relationships bc he’s scared of getting hurt, so while he does care for Rowan and hopes Rowan cares for him, he’d probably end up not bringing it up at all and it would simply remain something he thinks about way too much.

Jocelyn

She’d reread the message over and over and over again until her eyes bleed. She’d head to where you are and walk you home (since she doesn’t have a car) and the entire way think about what it meant. Was it sincere or a joke? Could MC really like her? MC would totally ask her what was wrong by the evident pout on her face, and she’d say it was nothing. She spends the rest of the walk psyching herself up to actually say something about it, but never ends up doing it. In her own mind, Jocelyn can’t possibly comprehend someone liking her. She feels as if she doesn’t deserve it. After that night, she never mentions it but spends late nights in her room staring at the ceiling wondering what it could have possibly meant.

If the characters were Animal crossing villagers, which animal/theme would they be? (I'm totally handling well the hiatus)

as the biggest animal crossing player of the mods, i felt i needed to answer this one :)

Amalia gives off sheep villager vibes to me. she’d have a normal/peppy personality.

Abel is quite literally blathers but besides that, i see him as a penguin or a frog with a combo of smug/lazy personality.

Lincoln is for sure a wolf, and the cranky personality.

Jocelyn was the trickiest for me but i see her most as a tiger villager. she’s a mix between sisterly/jock personality.
