Hi it's gonna be hard figuring out who I am but I don't want to like ask on non-anon and because it could have been a mistake as tumblr is quite dysfunctional at times: is there any reason you unfollowed me? We were mutuals and I'm curious if I did anything because I don't use tumblr a lot so besides a bi-weekly or monthly reblog for art or memes.

I either assumed you unfollowed me by mistake either tumblr wise or you OR my inactivity / us rarely talking made you unfollow.

we've unfollowed pretty much all of the exe focused blogs we used to follow for the mental wellbeing of one of our headmates. it was just to clean up our dashboard and make it possible for it to scroll without having to go through dozens of content that upsets it before finding anything it is interested in

tag blocking doesn't really work well on mobile since it still puts all of the posts on the dash but with a button to gain access and having to navigate a dashboard that is filtered post after filtered post is not fun as you can imagine ^^

we plan on refollowing some blogs if our headmate feels better about the exe community again

if your blog isn't one that is exe focused we may have unfollowed because we thought it was or because we may have noticed that you stated something in your pinned post regarding following that we realised we went against by accident. that or no particular reason 🤷

Virgil just shrugs.

“It’ll be finished when it’s finished and no sooner.” In other words he doesn’t know, but he’s totally okay with that.

He wasn’t angry in the slightest at Alan’s admission. All Virgil was feeling at that moment was rather confused and slightly worried. What had brought this on? Settling a hand on his baby brother’s shoulder, he raised an eyebrow.

“Okay… Look, I’m not upset. Just… why did you feel you needed something of mine to remind you of me?” he asked, sounding as puzzled as he looked.

“What’s up, Alan?”

It was the day after Virgil's birthday and Alan was avoiding his big brother. It wasn't that he had forgotten (there was no way that would happen after that one time) but he just couldn't think of anything to get his brother. He hated not having a present for one of his birthdays, but what do you get a guy who has everything?

Oh, Virgil had definitely noticed that Alan seemed to be actively avoiding him, although why, exactly, completely alluded him. Alan hadn’t done anything, to his knowledge, for him to be angry about or anything like that. It was a becoming a bit of a mystery that he’d decided to get to the bottom of as soon as he could manage to catch his youngest brother.

It took a little being sneaky on his part, but finally he managed to come up behind the youngest to catch him off guard. A firm hand came down on Alan’s shoulder. “Alan?”

Hey Virgil! I just had the best idea! You don't get to go to space all that often so why don't we take off and get a close up view of Jupiter's red spot? Like really close up. I was thinking of flying right into it!

“Uh… Would that be a good idea, Alan? I mean, I don’t know much about Jupiter, but…”

“…Wait, wait… Me?” he questions, as what Alan said belatedly twigs, having gotten a little lost in wondering if it was even a good idea. To say Virgil looks confused is an understatement. “Wouldn’t you rather go with John or even Scott?”
