Challenge 8 (Part 2) : The Break (Finale)

You’ve read it right, due to popular demand OOC, Raffy is officially on a break and Uncle Syl is Prince Regent!  While he is on break, Raffy continues to recover and honestly get a well-deserved break in Conway. 

During this break for the entirety of January, Raffy would be officially focusing on the last leg of the Selection aka this last challenge before he makes his big decision. 

Requirements

For our final two Selected: OOC, you will be picking a date idea that must be done outside of the palace and within the area of Conway. (the town). 

In the OC, it’ll be the date idea Raffy intended to take them. The dates that these final dates happen will remain ambiguous, meaning we won’t know which RP happens chronologically ahead of the other. 

This is to prepare for the intended endings of these dates. These final date RPs will go on for two weeks OOC, and will eventually be paused with a cliffhanger wherein it resumes once the final announcement is out for us OOC. The RP would have him revealing to your OC, that he has made a decision and what that decision is.

The two girls were notified about their official elimination but they were invited to stay as guests for the New Year’s celebrations if they want to stay in Conway Castle and taking their leave whenever they want until January 4th.

To our two Side Romances ladies, thank you for being with us for this whole ride. Chris and I are very excited to see what happens between Kaden/Sam and Andreia/Archie now that these ladies are technically free of the Selection. ;) As the chat name goes: the story continues,,,, ;))))))                                                                                 -Anya

As I have said many times before I feel so happy that Archie and Samuel got to be with two incredible ladies. (One of them not really deserving it and the other never imagined it could happen to him haha.) I’m really excited to know what happens next with these two relationships and I just hope you guys are having as much fun as I am! Timeline

This challenge is a little more ambiguous in terms of date depending on the ending, but expect OC-verse-wise, this challenge happens from January 5 – January 21, 2171. 

OOC this challenge pauses on Saturday, March 9, 2022 for the decision to be made. One week will be asked for Chris and Anya to discuss, deliberate, and write a final decision fic. 

On March 16, the final fic and the decision will be posted. WE’RE VERY EXCITED! 

BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE. Of course we didn’t forget about everyone’s questions, theories, and conspiracies on the leak. Tune in to our post next week for that final piece of information ;)

Challenge 2: First Dates

Hii, guys! The waiting is over! Challenge two is here, and it’s time for the beautiful ladies to go out on their first dates with King Raphael.

This time, for organization purposes, we would like to ask you to fill [ THIS ] schedule sheet with the name of your OC to let us know the time you would like to start your date. When the day of your date comes Anya would send you a message 10 min before the chosen time so you would be ready to start.

Please note as to make sure everyone is given a good amount of time to have their dates start properly, only 2 slots a day will be open for dates to start. The order of the dates on the sheet will also be the order of the dates in OC time. If you haven’t signed up your OC’s name by September 8th, 2021 we will send you a reminder. Remember that this date Rp is mandatory.

Meredith - Attend the Angeles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers Football Game

Diana - Attend a Charity Auction

Alassie - Visit the Angeles Sunday Market (aka Smorgasburg)

A couple of days prior to your date, King Raphael will send a note with a dress code, hour, and place where your girl would meet him. RPs will begin with these messages indicating the specifics. 

Side Rps Beginning this challenge, Side rps will be open by request (meaning there will be no draw for it, you only have to fill the form). You can only request 2 side rps in total. Archie, Samuel, Sandra, Bellamy, and Eleanor will be available either before or after your girl’s date with Raffy.

  Raffy, Bianca, Austen, and Sylvan will be open only after being done with your mandatory date rp or if your date RP has exceeded more than a week or 7 days. In this round, you can only have 1 side rp with Raffy as part of your 2 Side RP requests.

Ooc this challenge will last 3 weeks. All rps should be done by September 24th, 2021 at 6 PM (UTC - 4:00). In the OC Timeline, the dates will be going on from September 15 to October 6. (Meaning all dates will be happening within those dates).

Challenge 8 (Part 1): The Emergency

Hello, hello! Welcome to the first part of our last challenge this OC.

What Happened

As you read from the fic above, the stress as well as fatigue, finally got to Raffy (among other factors). Due to his Insulet’s Cannula (needle) being bent and not going through his skin properly when he replaced it the day before (right before Christmas Eve Dinner), he’s gone without insulin for almost a whole day leading his Blood Sugar reaching a BSL of 724. This all leads him to go into Diabetic Ketoacidosis, going unconscious and unresponsive, and in need of immediate medical attention. This is what happens on Tuesday, December 25 from 6:34 PM:

Right before dinner Plato starts barking indicating something is amiss. 

Archie was heading to Raffy’s room to finally talk to him.

Archie hears Plato and hurries into Raffy’s room finding him unconscious laying on the floor in his room.

Archie breaks down crouching by his cousin's side and calls for Officer Sheridan screaming for help.

Sheridan comes in and the family comes out of their chambers to see what happens. 

The doctor comes shortly after and Raffy is moved to the hospital wing and into ICU to go on an insulin drip. (Note: The hospital wing is on the second floor on the other side of the Selected rooms so probably they would be able to see everyone as they head to it.)

A few hours later the doctor informs the family that Raffy is awake and that they can see him.  (The selected are updated too but they are not permitted to see him yet.)

Raffy stays in the ICU until December 27.

From December 28 to December 29 Raffy is moved to a regular hospital room much more recovered and the visits are now open to everyone including the selected. 

OOC this challenge ends on Saturday, February 19, 2022.

For everyone, have an RP with Raffy while he’s in regular care in the hospital from 28-29.

Challenge 6 Updates

Hey everyone!

Just to update everyone, we’ve decided to extend Challenge 6 by one week since the Holidays happened and don’t want to hastily finish the RPs.

Another spicy update is that this challenge will have two eliminations. The reason why we haven’t done it before is because we wanted all to have the opportunity to rp the awesome characters you created as the families and friends of your selected ladies, but unfortunately the time has come to narrow the number down in order to keep the game going as usual and ease on the load heading towards the end of the OC.

This Challenge will end on January 15, 2022, and eliminations + the new challenge will be posted on January 15, 6PM — Saturday.

Challenge 6: The Tour

Surprise, surprise! So the earthquake has passed and everyone is dealing with the consequences of it and of other things as well… but now we present to you Challenge 6 where (if you want) your ladies will receive His Majesty the King into their hometowns.

How will it work?

Right before they leave on November 14th, the selected will receive the letter above from Raffy since dates had been reserved for him to visit the girls during their Thanksgiving break, and ample time to monitor key locations and affected areas have been identified. The Elite were given some time to accept or decline this proposal since Raffy knows they might want to discuss the possibility with their family or friends but he will be waiting for a response as soon as possible since an adequate tour schedule has to be made. The selected will travel with security guards to keep her and their family safe during this time, therefore Raffy will get their official responses through them. The information you have to send back if you want to receive the King in your province and the place you prefer to meet him. In that way, if your selected feels uncomfortable about welcoming him home, and letting him meet the family or friends, he will gladly meet her somewhere else. As we explained before, the King is traveling with a whole team to take the proper aid to the provinces affected by the earthquake and that includes his cousin Archie, who is there supporting the expert structural engineers and architects and the regulatory security guys (including Sheridan).  Though obviously once they are done making the corresponding inspections at the damaged provinces they will go separate ways, except for Archie and the security team.

2 hours boat to: Charlottestown, Hansport - Cornelia (November 24)

2 hours boat to: Moncton, Hansport (November 24, evening)

6 hours flights (Moncton to Boston via flight, Boston to Conway via helicopter( to: Conway Castle, Hansport (November 25, morning)

This challenge will last from December 27th 2021 until January 8th, 2022. (Happy New Year!!) OC this will last from November 15th, 2170 to November 25, 2170.

Challenge 5.5: Pack your Bags

Did you think that was everything for this challenge? 🤡🤡🤡

Here, we set the scene: 

As we discussed, the first group meal will resume on the 11th. On the breakfast of November 11, Raffy will be making (3) announcements:

Palace Engineers have studied the damage to the palace even more and have declared that though the palace will be alright in the short term, another massive earthquake or disaster could cause the structure to collapse which is why the palace will be undergoing at least 3 months of renovation. Therefore, Raffy has made the decision to move locations of the royal family temporarily to Conway Castle, Hansport, including the rest of the Selection.

Raffy will be flying around Angeles, Sonage, and Fennley to visit even more of the affected areas and Disaster Relief and Management operations and will be gone, accompanied by his cousin Archie (and Sam and other Kingsmen) while Uncle Syl holds the fort in Angeles until the 25th. He will be traveling indefinitely until the 25th. 

With Raffy flying around and the big move, he has made the decision to arrange for the girls to fly home for a brief Thanksgiving break from November 14-25 to spend it with their families, especially after a scary incident like the quake. The girls will have three days to pack their belongings and get ready to visit home. Their flights have been arranged for November 14. They are expected to arrive in Conway Castle, Hansport by November 25. 

The challenge continues in the same timeline, but you may now RP the days of November 11-14 onward with knowledge of this information. Raffy, Archie, and Sam will be flying out on the 14th just like the girls but will still be managing close by relief efforts in Angeles before traveling around more hard to reach areas.
