The days and weeks after the Shadowlurks and Dullahan calmed and flowed easily into one another. Berk returned to its normal chaos and even the fae residence found their rhythm again.
Kiara continued traveling from clan to clan, now with Finn as a guard and Howell. The ice fae compromising with her family to keep them happy she was protected. She’d admit the company was nice as well. Though her diplomatic work did take her away from Berk at times.
Rose continued in the forge. In her words, annoying Gobber. The fire fae enjoyed crafting and fixing anything and everything. Surprisingly, she got use to having the house to herself a lot. Flying with Brig and assisting with trainings.
And Lyra? Lyra was never seen without a smile. Her circle moved to the garden in front of her and Ash’s home. The two bonded spent their days apart as they worked. Ash on the ocean catching fish or assisting in trades, and Lyra taking on more and more as a healer.
Today Lyra had time to walk with Hiccup. Ash wouldn’t return until sunset so she took advantage to relax with her brother. The two chatting and joking about their day.
Except Lyra had a pretty big disadvantage in Berk. She was short. And thus easily looked over by the bigger Vikings. So as the siblings walked together she was bumped a few times. Until finally one Viking in a rush all but knocked her over and into Hiccup.
“Ouch. Today is not my day.” She grumbled, rubbing her arm.
“Watch it!” The Viking snapped at her as he regained his footing much quicker than her.
