“Well, uh,” Edmée pondered for a moment, looking up to the vampire, her wings fluttering slightly, “The thing is… sometimes, uh, ‘the bitey ones’ get a little ‘bitey’ with my kind, so…”

Well, this wasn’t normal. At all. At the time Edmée stood at a mere few inches, and still was gaining her bearings, having no idea exactly how it happened. The first thing that caught her off guard was Mizuki’s voice; everything was louder, and much louder than before. Not to mention, the floor is a dangerous place for someone that size. “W-whuh?”
