Small PSA ; no.

I’m a little flaying with my Ardyn as a muse currently. It’s not that I’ve lost him nor is it that I hate playing him - I love Ardyn and I ADORE my threads. 

However;  real life has been a real struggle as of late! 

I like to keep this blog clean ; primarily just asks and multi-para threads. Call me obnoxious or prentious, but it’s just how I like it. Lately ; I’ve found it very difficult to write my threads. I’ve looked at my drafts and just sorta....’eh’.

This isn’t because of anyone - as said, it’s because of real life. I’ve had a broken boiler, job mishaps, depression & all the other things that get in the way of a hobby like this.

As a result - I’ve not been here much - when I have, I’ve posted one to two threads then quickly vanished.

However. People have gotten upset over this. People think I’m ignoring or denying them attention. This is not the case - I’m just busy. 

If you want me - I’m on my more cracky, shitposting Ethan blog, or on Discord (which is available at request). 

One day this week I plan on posting all of my drafts but for now - please, you guys. I’d understand if it were you - just understand that I’ve been busy and I’ve not particularly enjoyed being on here and thus I’m churning out threads less and much less present online here. 

I’m sorry for any inconvenience.

Need-to-know-lore for (my) Ardyn 

(( So, everybody plays Ardyn differently (which is one of the things I love about all the Ardyn-roleplayers on here.) However, I sometimes get the impression that people find it difficult to differentiate us from one another - for obvious reasons.

Now, all of this lore can be found in my headcanon tag and in my rules/about. I understand not everybody has time to scour these pages, which sucks but I accept it. So, here is a compilation of the ideal ‘need-to-know’ in regards to my characterisation that I’d appreciate you read before interaction. 

Sexuality - Bisexual. Ardyn is openly bisexual and he will hit on both genders. He has a strong preference toward effeminate men but he still loves women all the same.

Family - Ardyn had a younger sister and a mother/father. But NO other family. He’s never been married nor does he have children. 

No children - he’s got no kids. He’d never have them. It’s as simple as that. I roleplay with ‘family members’ according to YOUR headcanon, not mine. Any roleplay with a ‘family member’ is purely AU. 

Izunia was a jealous chancellor - NOT his brother. I see this headcanon thrown around a lot by people that Izunia was Ardyn’s brother, but in my HC he was a chancellor that came to the kingdom as an ally only to turn the tables upon Ardyn taking leave.

Attitude/intentions - I roleplay Ardyn as a man WANTING TO DIE. He doesn’t care if that means killing everybody, so long as he can finally rest. 

Height - he’s over 6ft. So, he’s tall.

(( That’s all I can think of now that is essential, but please - please - please, don’t just assume things. I always read peoples bios / rules when I write a starter for them so I’d appreciate you did the same. ))
