"I love your hair." She said with a bright smile. The fashion sense between France and America were so different. Not that she knew if this girl was American or not. She'd found that Washington was a big melting pot. She liked that aspect though, it was comforting.

She had seen the other girl in some of her classes. Maelle still wasn't totally sure about the whole art degree thing. But she didn't really have any other interests to study. She loved art. But seeing the art of her peers always messed with her head.

Instead of taking those thoughts and keeping them in, she decided to approach one of the people she thought was very talented.

"Hey, we have some classes together. I think you're getting an art degree too. I really like your work." She said with a smile, trying her best to not be awkward.
