Today i received my third badge in my time with Geek Squad. As odd as it feels the more I've been thinking about it, the more proud I am of the work I have done in the past and what I will do in the future to not only exceed my clients expectations, but to do it in style, with humor when appropriate. I currently don't even have internet, but really wanted to share this. Special thanks to all of my former and current bosses for pushing me when I needed it. You all helped me succeed. This screenshot is a real one folks. Microsoft announced a series of changes with 8.1 starting this week but this one is planned ‘soon’.

If you tried using Stardock’s Start8 or Modern Mix, this is a combination of them. Apps can open in windowed mode with this new update, as well as adding back a start menu with the modern apps on the right side.

Overall looks good. If it is as fast as Start8 then I will be happy.

What I work in everyday. Basically two monitors on the left are work computer. And the two on the right are for everything else and Lync/Skype. Corpy is right above the right monitors and the gaming computer is in the back, the orange case is my plex server.

Domains

With all of my collection of domains, I decided it was high time I re-started my blog. I previously used Blogger, but decided to switch to Tumblr. This blog is about  fun, love, work, and everything else that makes up my nerdy life. 

This is the first day off I've had in a while to really spend time on the computer outside of work, and just write. I managed to get a ton of stuff done, including getting this setup ( www.johnleighow.com ). Hopefully, the world will begin to enjoy what I like to talk about. This really can be ANYTHING. So stay tuned!
