theacademyismusic: Try Not To Laugh: Staring Contest Who REALLY emerged victorious - Bill or The Butcher?
theacademyismusic: The Phrase That Pays⦠this is one of our favorite moments, every single show. Where will we be seeing you this year?
6.13-6.14 Vanās Warped Tour, Washington DC
6.20 Summerfest, Milwaukee, WI
7.25-7.26 Vanās Warped Tour, Long Beach, CA
9.23 Salt Shed, Chicago, IL
11.14 Vanās Warped Tour, Orlando, FL
theacademyismusic: š TAI Grand Prix ā Pigeon Forge, TN:
The inaugural TAI Grand Prix belonged to Adam T. Siska, better known to longtime fans as āDaddy Primetime.ā
While The Butcher Bishop showed early speed and looked poised to challenge for the lead, Siska seized control on Lap 1 and never looked back, putting on a dominant display from start to finish.
Mike Carden, Billy Beckett, and Ian āCrawdaddyā Crawford fought hard behind him, but none could match Siskaās paceāhighlighted by the raceās defining moment when Daddy Primetime actually lapped Mike Carden en route to a commanding victory, further cementing his status as the undisputed king of the TAI circuit. šš

theacademyismusic: theacademyismusic Second leg in the books.
What show were you all at? And where did we miss? Should we do a third leg? Canadian Summer in Saskatchewan?
Every show was great, but some easy standouts were Seattle, Austin & Orlando. Sacramentoā¦.. wow that was awesomeā¦..
This was just one of those stretches of shows where the band felt totally locked in and you all showed up big.
Also huge shout to Duane for stepping in on drums and absolutely crushing it. Not an easy spot to jump into and he made it feel effortless.
Also a special shoutout to our good friend Jon Walker for opening up these shows. TAl couldn't have asked for a better traveling companion and just all around great person.
Mexico City, we're incredibly bummed that things weren't able to carry on as planned, we are working to make it up to you.
Lastly, cheers to our whole touring crew: Nasty Nate, Trox, Zach, Tyler, Jonathan, Gerrad, Kevin Brown, other Kevin Brown & Randy the bus driver.
Sincerely,
William, Mike, Adam, The Butcher & lan.
