Made a career story tier list

THIS IS NOT ABOUT HOW MUCH I LIKE THE CHARACTER, some of my favourite characters are in the lower tiers. This is just about how much I like their career stories.

Just noticed that if they add Umas for 2021-2023 soon and I keep up the pace of one anime concept post per week, Forever Young's post will come out on the day of her potential l'arc race

2005 would probably be both one of the easiest gens for CyGames to adapt, but also one of the ones they’re least likely to, because it’s literally just Main Story Act 2 (https://umamusu.wiki/Game:Main_Story_-_Act_2)—featuring honorary mare King Halo as their mentor.

Yeah, normally I try to avoid stories that already have alternative adaptations but here I was lucky to not have read main story 2 yet because from my understanding it's about all of them so I wouldn't have anything left

How I'd do an anime of each Umamusume generation part 23: 2005

Don't really know anything about these characters yet but based on their records, you could easily do a road to the top-style miniseries focused on their classics.

Air Messiah finally has her first graded race, the Fillies' Revue, facing off against her friends and rivals Rhein Kraft and Daring Heart. Despite her efforts (and perhaps overconfidence after having beaten Daring Heart before) she only comes in third, placing behind the other two.

This is repeated at the Oka Sho, her first G1, with the addition of Cesario, who also finishes ahead of Messiah.

She demands a rematch at the Oaks, but Kraft and Heart don't feel ready for 2400 meters and go for the NHK Mile Cup instead.

Kraft beats Heart at the NHK Mile Cup and people start talking about her being the best of her generation. Messiah feels like even if she does win the Oaks, it'll be a hollow victory until she can beat Kraft.

And then she doesn't even win the Oaks, coming second to Cesario yet again.

Summer comes around and Cesario goes to America, where she wins the American Oaks. The rest go to summer training camp, where Messiah and Heart talk about their frustrations about being unable to beat Kraft and feeling like they're lost in her shadow (not really the one whose shadow they were lost in irl but a nice parallel). They are both determined to beat her.

Here's where the RTTT parallels get a bit shaky because unlike Top Road at the Kyoto Shimbun Hai, Messiah beats Kraft at the Swan Stakes. That would make for a natural climax of the movie but I'd prefer for her victory at the Shuka Sho to be that, so they'd need to have some kind of conversation after the race that makes Messiah feel like she has to beat her again for it to really count.
