Send help I love Sonic

I just adore Sonic in Sonine Prime. While he was in Green Hills, they focused on making him the typical hero everyone used to: "No one messes with my best friend!" and straight into action. When Prism is broken? Ohhh, he's so damn scared. His legs tremble and his confidence shatters with every minute he explores the new setting of the world. He's SCARED. The hero. Scared. Because he didn't used to this. He didn't used to Tails not being here, helping him. He didn't used of Tails attacking him(when Nine thought he's a traitor). He didn't used to a world where Eggman took over. He didn't used to the situations where he can't save everyone just by running fast. And this messes him up. He tries to remain confident and joke around, but by the end he's just whipped and tired. I love this Sonic. He's different.

Also, super raw moment in S1E1, after Nine attacks Sonic and Sonic saves him from a train, Nine still doesn't "recognize" him, calls him intruder. In Sonic's viewpoint this is Tails, and Tails is rejecting him. He never felt that. He never even concidered Tails rejecting him, Tails not being his best friend. He cannot stand the thought of it, so he just snaps: "Stop! Just... Stop...", ears drop and expression is like he's gonna cry right this moment. It felt like a punch for him and he doesn't wants to be punched again, because he can't even counterattack or ran away from it.
