Reagan just giggled. Athena was always a riot and god it was fun to have her around. “Come on, dude. Don’t be mean to Lizzo at least. She’s so cute and you know we can’t choose our parents.” Reagan sighed, leaning down to pick up Fruit Loops, awfully surprised that he even let her. Rea gave him a little smooch and then set him down again lest he start scratching at her face or something along those demonic lines. “That rodent back there is the love of my life, ma’am. Some respect on my name, please,” Rea says followed by a faux angry expression, arms crossed against her chest and everything before it dissolved into giggles. “It’s nice to know your walking, talking, breathing dildo still works. Thank you for sharing the details I appreciate it very much. Would you like details on the three different positions me and Derrick tried last night?” She heard Derrick call out in protest from the other room and just smiled.
“You know, her name is almost making me like her, but I’ve got a code to stick to. It’s ‘Don’t like any of the pets Derrick named’. Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?” One of the cats she forgot the name of jumped onto her lap and she was ready to give them a soft nudge away before they gave her the cutest little look. She could only seem heartless for so long. Some of these pets were just too damn cute. There were too many of them, yeah, but they were so freaking adorable at the same time. “Some respect? On your name? For being in love with Derrick? Nah.” Sometimes Athena would consider herself a hopeless romantic. When she was little, all she had really wanted was to be a mother. That had been her dream and it was taken away from her without a choice. She had gotten over that though. Love though? It seemed like something she would never have because she gave off the impression that she didn’t want it. When she saw people who were in love, it took a piece of her heart every time. She supposed that was why she always ragged on Derrick. Well, that and the fact that he was a fuckboy without the overall attitude. “You’re welcome. I’m glad you appreciate it. And yes, I very much would like to hear all about it. Can we get some drinks first though?”
