people treating the outsider like a trickster god never sat right with me. hes a kid who lost his to a cult, and I think hes always trying to make sense of the world as a god but with logic of a kid whos playing with a bunch of toys. hes just a v lonely, traumatized and weirdly pitiful child, and I really like how much depth that brings to his character instead of him just being another stereotypical trickster god with no fathomable motivations.
