"He didn´t even have to." Stiles smirked at Derek´s disbelief. It wasn´t so hard to tell - his father had usually good guess at people. Of course that he was being careful - he didn´t know Derek that well but Stiles knew that the man had soft spot for the young Alpha. "Hm, wha-" he turned to Derek just in time to be pushed into the snowy mountanin. A yelp got out of his throat as he fell face-first into the snow. "Grghwlemnnnn I hafe fu." He tried to say with face full of snow as he pushed himself up.

"What was that? You have a little snow—" he started, motioning around his own mouth with his hand. Smirking, he placed his hand on Stiles' arm, giving him some extra support as he stood to his feet. With his thumb, he brushed the fluff away from his cheeks, his chin, his lips. And he straightened the boy's jacket. "Come on," he said, shifting his body so his back was facing Stiles. "Get on."

Stiles made an overdramatic  pouty face at Derek´s dry tone. “Pffth.” He made a small sound of disdain as he turned to face the street, his eyes immediately lighting up at the sight of snow. It was so peaceful - like something from a postcard, Stiles almost got lost in his thoughts before Derek´s voice brought him back to Earth. “Hm:” He blinked, surprised. ” No…no, i don´t think so, he actually likes you…well, aside from when I accused you of  murder and all that. I think he trusts you more than me and he actually thinks you´re nice.” Stiles smiled at that as he looked at Derek. “Stilinski men are rarely wrong you know.” He bumped into Derek´s side with a small chuckle. “But on the other hand, there might be a slight threatening-with-a-gun sort of stuff?” The boy blinked up innocently at the werewolf before skipping down the street with a laugh.

Disbelief was written all over his face. "He told you he thinks I'm nice?" There was a time when the two of them worried about what would come of them once the boy's father discovered what was happening behind closed doors, once he'd seen the bond for himself, witnessed how strong it was. But this holiday was full of nothing but approval and appreciation. "Snowbank," he mumbled, shifting his body and bumping Stiles back with just enough force to send him tumbling into the snowy mountain.

Stiles couldn´t help but feel the joy when the snow was falling down peacefully on Christmas and he get to share it with Derek. He followed Derek easily, stopping only to get the coat and shoes. “Hopefully. I always wish for a lot of snow…even when others don´t like it so much. Tons of snow. Metres of snow. A lot of….snow.” He smiled as he dressed up and followed Derek out of the house.

"I get it. You like snow," he said, tone dry. But his expression softened and his subtle smirk made its way to the surface. The street was calm, a car passing the couple only once every few minutes. Across the road, two kids were piecing together a snowman on the front lawn and the only sound Derek could hear was their laughter. "Your dad gonna shoot me at dinner tonight for giving you that key?" he asked, shooting him a side glance.

"Is it?" Stiles almost forgot where they were. He blinked, the sudden realization that it was Christmas and they were exchanging gifts downing on him. He looked out of the window, the smile on his lips widening. "Merry Christmas." He turned back to Derek, moving closer to him.

"I love snow. We should build a snowman or something."

There hadn't been a lot of snow this year - few nights here and there when it fell, but it hadn't stayed around. Never had there been enough to blanket the ground. But now it was coming down in chunks. "If this keeps up, maybe." He smiled, taking Stiles' hand in his own and tugging him along gently. "Walk with me? I want to enjoy this before it all melts."

Silence followed the comment, and the smile came after that. A few months ago, he wouldn't have known what the hell Stiles was talking about. But now he knew certain things. Like his favorite television show and the name of the game that stole hours of the boy's sleep each night. 

He looked passed Stiles and out the window. "It's snowing."
