The moon has been a magickal presence for thousands and thousands of years. Ancestors of multiple cultures believed it had some spiritual significance. If you try to cast a love spell during any other moon phase, it doesn’t mean it won’t work, but the results could take longer.

The Dark or Void of the Moon
During the dark moon, when the face of the moon is hidden, it is also known as the “dead” moon. It takes place precisely three days before a new moon, and is considered to be the most magickal and potent of all the phases. Many individuals who partake in black magick do so during this time. People using dark magick can influence any spells or rituals that you may be performing. Their collective power can cause cosmic havoc: our spells may become confused or simply not work at all. It is advised to be experienced wand wavers to attempt rituals at this time.
