I think Jalynfein would be more of a weirdo than Gromph, given his history. To be honest, Gromph really wanted to look younger to match his inner troubled teenager with complexes.(。。 )

Your Zaknafein and Rizzen art made me come up with a headcanon: Drow bond with their patrons/fathers through hair.

Like a baby drow will hold onto their father's hair when they hold them, and they learn how to braid and brush by practicing on their father's.

Maya and Dinin stressing Rizzen out so much as they keep tugging and pulling. He has a 30 step hair care routine and Zaknafein just has lucky genetics: water, soap, that's it.

I think maintaining relationships through hair care might be common among the followers of Vhaeraun. Followers of Eilistraee clearly spend a lot of time on their hair, for some reason I think so. XD But this hair-care would be incredibly sweet with Zak, Drizzt, and Vierna. (╥_╥) Rizzen would be very displeased with Dinin. Dinin is never good enough.

And yes, Zak just washes his hair in the river and looks like he's from an expensive shampoo commercial in any situation.┐(︶▽︶)┌

Man, I got to where Drizzt amd Zaknafein reunited and I am so disappointed with where it went.

I fully expected Drizzt to revert back to being daddy's boy and Zaknafein being too distracted with his one remaining child to even give a shit about anything else.

Just Zaknafein hugging Drizzt, not putting him down no matter how much everyone pulled at his arms.

Drizzt hissing at anyone who comes close because that's his daddy back after 100 years, and he's not ready to share! >:[

I think this moment would have been different if it had happened in the earlier books. But here we are.(。。 )
