A blessed Solstice to all who observe it. May the next season bring you peace and fulfillment. May the gods you follow hear your prayers, and if you follow none, may you find wisdom within yourself to light your way through the darkest of times.

fun tidbit! Those curved necklaces you see that look like claws? They're borrowed from traditionally South Indian cultures. Most likely Telugu culture.
In Telugu, a necklace with a pendant of that shape is called a "puli-goru". Puli meaning tiger, and goru meaning nail. So, if America has the rabbit's foot, we have a tiger's nail. It's like a symbol of good luck, strength, and power, dating from ancient times, when hunters would have to fight with animal predators for food. Owning the claw of a tiger meant you were a strong enough warrior to take it from the tiger or a lucky enough person to find a tiger claw that had been ripped off of the tiger and left in the forest.
Most often, you'll see Telugu movies where only men wear them, but women also can wear them as pendants on elaborate necklaces.
