I didn't end up with a card of the day yesterday. I was having issues grounding myself and arriving in my space. The card that I ended up with felt forced (I tend to do an intuitive draw while shuffling) and overall just wasn't connecting with me.
Today's card calls us to ensure we are grounded. A firm footing allows us to balance any chaos that may come into our lives. Take a moment of tranquility. Maybe it feels right to explore your higher purpose? Perhaps, this time is instead a time to look at another's perspective.
Working on a new, intuitive spread. This one was pros, cons, and considerations. Also had two cards come at once and had to ask where they wanted to be.
This reading is in relationship to a potential job opportunity. I got that it is a good thing to consider, but that my reliance on others needs to be addressed before I am ready.
I asked my deck what I needed to know before reading today. Lots of reversed cards, which I'm fairly new at, but they are resonating.
I'm reading that the limitations I feel are self-imposed. To overcome them I must relax and be myself, celebrating the home and life I have built for myself. However, I need to reevaluate my relationship with money, because I cannot count on maybe.
i've been asked about my yugioh tcg oracle deck quite a bit over the years and while i still and will always refuse to show anyone the full decklist, i'm happy to share my process:
recommended you use cards pulled from your preexisting personal collection rather than buying specific planned cards
get urself in a good focused headspace for intuitive magic, however you would usually do so with ur collection pulled out (casting a circle, grounding, etc) but i recommend Not cleansing the cards!! let em hold onto their existing vibes
time for the long haul. go through each individual card and try to connect with its energy or vibe or aura or whatever you listen to. like literally hold each single card in ur hands and listen for if it says anything to you. some might immediately jump out with a clear meaning or role for the deck, some might just say "pick me!!! i wanna join!!", some might say nothing at all
set aside those who call out to you
once you've combed through the whole collection, do it all over again but only with the cards that had a voice
this is where you begin to craft the deck for your own goals or purposes. this part is highly intuitive and may prove difficult or incredibly time-consuming. feel free to step away and come back again when you feel recharged -- just be sure to place the cards somewhere safe and meaningful
i recommend no less than 50 and no more than 80 cards but fuck it im not ur dad go ham
extra notes:
i took advantage of yugioh tcg's colored card types (monster, spell, & trap) to serve as "pendulum answers" (spells are yes, traps are no, monsters are unclear/neutral) and was sure to have an equal number of each type
some cards might really wanna be in the deck despite not showing a clear meaning now -- trust you'll know what they say during readings
don't be afraid to restructure the deck later if you feel inclined -- remove, add, replace how ur heart desires
sleeves.
make a digital version of the decklist in case of the worst possible scenario...... but also be mindful of its irreplaceability when traveling with it.

New opportunities and visions
You might meet someone of interest who might or might not become someone significant to you nevertheless they will be influential in your daily life in some way. This person would be someone who comes into your life in order to help you build structure or a routine. They will help you to reorganize your goals and look at them from a different point of view. They seem to be someone mature who can guide you along your way and who you can learn from and vice versa. This connection could develop into a great friendship or even into a romantic relationship depending on what you want to attract. Try to approach life in a different way. New change is ahead. Things won’t be the way you’re used to but it’ll be positive just like a fresh breeze of air. Be open to receive and get help from others. It’ll give you the strength and motivation to embark into a new process. You’ll slowly see this as the month passes by. Stay curious and have a lot of fun, pile 1!
𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝟮
Reflect
You’ll have more time for yourself this month, pile 2. This time can be used to go within and practice self help. Self care is very important now and needed so if you feel like the past months have been rough and didn’t do you well it’s the time to lean back and focus on your wellbeing. Find alignment with yourself again. Looking back at what you have achieve until now and give yourself some credits. You deserve them. Mediate from to time or journal if you like it. This will help you ground yourself and practice gratitude even for yourself. While doing so also really think about anything you want to improve or change and come up with a plan to carry these things out. A great time to rearranged priorities such as connections, relationships, work and life. Really think about what you want to do and set your intentions well. Deep cleansing in a lot of areas is indicated here. Gone with the old one and welcome new positive attitudes, pile 2!
𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝟯
Growth
You’ll be busy this month, pile 3, but in a good sense. You’ll be occupied by many projects which could help you build new stable connections and bring you growth as well as learning. You might get to work on the things you really like. It’s the time to get work done and enjoy the fruits from the hard work and all the achievements you might’ve gather from the past two years until now. It’ll be a great time with full of new experiences and excitements. It’s your time to shine and show off your skills so use it wisely and plentifully. Some of you might even get to be in some sort of high/er positions that’d come with making decisions and force you to have or take responsibilities but overall this will be something you’ll get a lot out from so enjoy the ride to your goals. I see a lot of positive energy filled with success and recognition. Lucky you! Go get it, pile 3!
In response to this ask I got earlier today, I decided to do a quick deep-dive into my research materials about divining with playing cards vs tarot cards. Here's the research I found in Old Tradition Crafte, translated by Robin Artissan (2005):
"Meanings may be assigned to a pack of playing cards, to be spread out and read as omens so a situation may be given clarity and direction as well as understanding." This style of reading is claimed to have been used by witches in the 18th-late 19th century, according to Old Tradition Crafte translated by Robin Artissan (2005). According to Artissan, "It has been taken from those who practice the North Berwick Style of Crafte, but is not old enough to be the original system. The cards used in this system are ordinary playing cards. There is no mention of Tarot cards in this system."

White Numen: A Sacred Animal Tarot, pictures here are all taken by me.
An honest review that was asked for, enjoy! Not sponsored.
WARNING: I believe this deck is not suitable for minors because this deck can be very sensual. It also contains a bit depictions of nudity (nipples showing) which is drawn in a cartoon style, not 3D. However, this review does not contain any of those cards.
𝐵𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑐 𝐼𝑛𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝐴𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝐷𝑒𝑐𝑘
Name: White Numen: A Sacred Animal Tarot
Creators: Alba BG
Publisher: Liminal 11
Cards: 80 cards total (22 major arcana, 56 minor arcana, 2 extra cards), laminated
Guidebook: Available, physical guidebook, hardcover, full coloured, fits inside casing, 59 pages of content
Casing: Magnetic box with another box inside it
Some cards from the deck that we want to show off.
𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 𝐿𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝐴𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐷𝑒𝑐𝑘
Its energy — I don't know exactly how to explain this but this deck feels like it's full of life. I love its energy and I can barely feel energy in general so imagine how it would feel like to someone who can feel energy.
The concept — What makes this deck unique is its concept of numen and the numens' application in the cards.
The art — It's just gorgeous, all the imagery on the cards are so pretty.
Card quality — The cards are thick and smooth, fits in my hand and the deck is easy to shuffle.
The guidebook — It did a pretty good job on explaining how to read cards for beginners. It also has 2 unique tarot spreads.
𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 𝐷𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝐿𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝐴𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐷𝑒𝑐𝑘
Production — The production of this deck is unfortunately horrible. A lot of the imagery on the cards (both sides) are misaligned and not centred as you can see in the pictures, eg: The Fool, White Numen. The cards came stuck together so I had to spend a lot of time separating each card (this should not happen to ungilded cards). Some of the cards also had some sort of residue on them, I don't know what to call it but it's like dust that you have to clean off. The cards also get stuck together a bit if you don't constantly use them.
The casing — I don't like that there's two boxes. It's unnecessary.
The guidebook — Little information especially for the minor arcana but it's do-able. It's so thin too so it makes the hardcover unnecessary like the hardcover is thicker than the 60+ pages inside it. Also no reversal meanings.
No reversal — This deck is unable to be used for reversals. I mean you can if you want to but it was not made with reversals in mind. The back of the card is distinct so you know which cards are upright and which cards are reversed.
𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐶𝑎𝑛 𝐵𝑒 𝐼𝑚𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑑
Production — Do better.
The guidebook — Add reversals and keywords for minor arcana. Also, this is only my opinion but I feel paperback suits the guidebook better than hardcover.
Reversals — It would be an improvement if some alterations were made to the deck so that it would be suitable to be used for reversals.
The casing — There's no need for 2 boxes, one is enough.
White Numen Tarot deck interview, 04.01.2022
𝑇𝑎𝑟𝑜𝑡 𝐷𝑒𝑐𝑘 𝐼𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑒𝑤
This deck has amazing energy and it's also very responsive.
Q1: Please introduce yourself.
Black Numen
Numen (a Latin term for divinity), protects its loved ones at all costs, not afraid to challenge anything even if things are obvious at a loss
Q2: What are your strengths as a deck?
The Magician
Powerful, connects to both the spiritual world and the physical world, confident, friendly to everyone including spirits, willing to help
Q3: What are your weaknesses as a deck?
Three of Pentacles
Reflects a lot, is sacred, lives in its own head, individual, requires focus and respect (readers should avoid doing useless readings)
Q4: What type of readings are you most suited for?
Nine of Wands
Readings relating to goals and determination, moving forward, facing whatever is ahead
Q5: What type of readings are you least suited for?
Six of Cups
Readings relating to the past, nostalgia, childhood, relationships
Q6: What’s the outcome of our relationship?
The World
Mastering the lessons of the Numen, ending cycles, embracing all aspects of life, become more skilled
𝐼𝑠 𝐼𝑡 𝐵𝑒𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑟 𝐹𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑙𝑦?
Nope. It's unique; different from the original Rider Waite Smith tarot deck. It also has no reversal meanings and not suitable to be used for reversals. The guidebook does not provide enough information for it to be considered beginner friendly.
𝐷𝑜 𝐼 𝑅𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑑 𝐼𝑡?
This is a hard one. To be honest, no. I absolutely love the energy from the deck but the production is a huge disaster. This deck has so much potential to be an amazing deck but they butchered that potential. However, if you don't mind the bad production and have some extra money to spare, I say go for it because this deck does have very amazing energy and personality.
𝑂𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑅𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑒𝑤 & 𝑅𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔
☆☆☆★★
The art is hard carrying the deck. What's sad is that this could've gotten 4 stars if the production wasn't so bad.

Choose the pile that sparks a memory for you. It has your answers
1. THE COFFIN
You need to forgive everyone who misuse their power. Who treat you injusticely when they have more power than you. For some of you, these people have Aries placements. These people were the ones who you thought can share meaningful and off guard connection but turn out they put you into depression, sadness, and lifeless living for quite long time. The way you can forgive them is through rationalization. Not everyone think the same way as you and sometimes, it's not as bad as we thought it would be. We are still able to be sustain by ourselves plus their presence and them when they are gone is no different than people who have left our life. Good luck!
2. THE FOX
You need to forgive people who have left you or you left. These people have caused you broken heart and you desperately seeking a new person to forget them. The wounds that they have caused make you unable to stay single for a while and desperately trying to get your world together again. The way for you to forgive them is through you convincing yourself that no matter the situation is, you will be always above it that no situation will ever conquer you. You are so strong and this too shall pass. This situation teaches you a lot about wisdom and at some points in your life, you feel enlightenes through this situation. Good luck!
3. THE SCYTHE
You need to forgive yourself for your own inability to leave bad habits or feelings that no longer serve you. This is how you are not gonna be trapped anymore seeking for refugee for someone who can treat you better. The way for you to forgive them is by believing in yourself that you are capable of doing everything. You have all the things that are necessary for you and honestly you don't need anybody other than for your emotional support. But even with that, you actually can support yourself. People are just additions. Good luck!
