Last night, we celebrated my mom's 70th birthday. I only hope to have her energy and confidence into my later years to make such an entrance.

When you're going home from @grey #holidayparty and all you can think is: Am I descending into hell? No, because I don't believe in heaven but I do believe in images as inner monologue vignettes. Also, My feet hurt, like badly, and in 2002, I would be eating mac n cheese at #cafeteria and waiting in line at the bathroom with the most ridiculous people who remind you that the journey is all worth it.
