Values good business over making friends, prefers solitude and the company of animals when not around customers or benefactors. 🔸A mysterious curse is behind the rust-colored markings on her eyes and hands. It's also corrupting the story's antagonist, an enormous owl -shaped half of Rudi's soul in the collective unconscious. (Every human in this universe unknowingly has one) 🔸It appears in and escapes from Rudi's dreams and attracts other nightmares and nightmare entities, blurring the line between real life and dreaming. 🔸Rudi (and Casimir, who is a Raven - whole another entity from the dream realm) spend a lot of time searching artefacts and old texts while running from the nightmares, trying to find out how to stop the curse and protect themselves from them.

Had just enough time to finish one last art fight attack for @naruysae 🙌🤎 Character is Marc Hassin l'assassin. 🐗🔪 He's based on a (french) pun so i wanted to illustrate another one: the finnish word "kurkku" means both a cucumber and a throat, so "kurkunleikkaaja" for example means someone who cuts cucumbers or someone who cuts throats. And we think that's beautiful.🔪🥒

Warmup from yesterday. Started painting a gibbon without any particular reason, but then it made me think about the popular Buddhist motif of a gibbon reaching for the moon's reflection in water, symbolizing futile aspirations of stupid men or something. And how soon there might not even be any gibbons left alive thanks to humans. Joke's on us again, reaching only for gibbon images to appreciate them in the future.
