Tatsuya: Ayu-niichan!

“Hey Tatsuya-kun!”

“Yuya-nii-chan makes it look easy because he spends the night before and the morning of a duel going over his deck and making tweaks and trying out new combination so he’s ready for whatever his hand gives him. He said his dad used to prepare like that and it seems to work well.” Tatsuya explained before smiling. “I’d love to duel with you Ayu-chan!”

“Okay, let’s do this!” Looking through her deck Ayu made sure her new cards were all there. Then she started shuffling them. “I’ll make sure to show you my new strategies. Are you ready?”

Tatsuya grinned and shuffled his deck as well before sliding it into his duel disk and activating it. "Let's see if you can beat my gear giant"

Tatsuya: Ayu-niichan!

“Hey Tatsuya-kun!”

“As long as you focus on what you’re doing you’ll be fine. you got distracted last time with building up your aquarium look. I’m sure you’ll figure out backups in case something happens. Dont worry about making things look cute. thats like painting something before you build it,” Tatsuya told her with a smile. “I’ll happily duel you any time to help you improve. and maybe yuya nii-chan or yuzu nee-chan will agree to a tag duel with us, boys against girls or something like that! that’d really help us improve because we’d have to move fast to keep up with them.”

“I’ll do my best to improve!” Ayu looked at her deck with a determined expression. “It always looks so easy when Yuya-nii-chan entertains the audience, but I shouldn’t forget to focus on the duel, too, huh?” She smiled. “I’d love to have a practice duel with you any time!”

Tatsuya closed his book and turned to face Reira better. “I actually don’t know what that means...” he admitted with a sheepish smile. “care to fill me in?”

Tatsuya blinked before looking up from his book and over at Reira. “Did you say something?” he asked curiously

Tatsuya: Ayu-niichan!

“have you gotten any new strategies lately Ayu? Yuya-niichan and yuzu-neechan keep telling us to improve no matter what.

“Yes, I’ve been working really hard on my deck the last days.“ Ayu took her deck out of her pocket. “I’ll definitely do better in the next tournament! … Or at least I’ll try!“

Tatsuya blinked in surprise before blushing as well. “Sure! I’d love to spend the day with you!” he replied with a wide smile and picking up Reira’s hand, shyly kissed the back of it. “we should figure out somewhere to go, just the two of us.”

[☆]— His blush grew deeper as Tatsuya kissed the back of his hand. Overjoyed that the other didn’t reject the idea.

“… Do you have any ideas to where we could go?” He questioned.

"Hmm...." the blue haired boy gave it some thought. "Have you ever been to the zoo before?"

[☆]— His attention had been caught as soon as he heard the other’s voice. Though it was unfamiliar to him. Keeping quiet, Reira stared at the other. Was there something in his eye? And why was he called cute..?

"Is there something you want from me?" He questioned, breaking the moment of silence.

"How about a date~?" Yugou teased, leaning in closer to the adorable boy.

"Sorry, but Reira is already dating me."

Tatsuya blinked and turned, smiling brightly at seeing Reira behind him. “Hi Reira, whats the question?” he asked, gently taking hold of the younger Akaba’s sleeve and leading him to a spot in You Show where they could talk quietly and in private

[☆]— There was a moment of silence before Reira had finally decided to speak.

"I wanted to know if you would like to spend Valentines day with me." He said, a light blush creeping upon the boy’s face.

Taatsuya blinked in surprise before blushing as well. "Sure! I'd love to spend the day with you!" he replied with a wide smile and picking up Reira's hand, shyly kissed the back of it. "we should figure out somewhere to go, just the two of us."

[☆]— It wasn’t too far from Valentines day, hell it was only a couple weeks or so away. And although Reira was a rather young boy, there was someone he was interested in. Ever since he caught a glimpse of the boy from the corner of his eye..

With a light tap on the shoulder, Reira had attempted to get Tatsuya’s attention.

"…. I have a question." The boy said, his voice soft. The grip on his stuffed bear tightening.

Tatsuya blinked and turned, smiling brightly at seeing Reira behind him. "Hi Reira, whats the question?" he asked, gently taking hold of the younger Akaba's sleeve and leading him to a spot in You Show where they could talk quietly and in private

Tatsuya hugged Yuzu. “Yuzu-nee-chan, Sora’ll come back. Maybe he got called away home by his family or something,” Tatsuya offered up as explanation.

Tatsuya nodded with a smile and hugged her again. "Something tells me he's just fine." He told her.

Tatsuya hugged Yuzu. “Yuzu-nee-chan, Sora’ll come back. Maybe he got called away home by his family or something,” Tatsuya offered up as explanation.

Yuzu placed a hand on the boy’s head and looked at him with a saddened expression. “I think he would have told us if he was going to visit his family. I hope he does return.” Yuzu responded.

"Sometimes with emergencies theres no time to call." Tatsuya reminded. He knew that was a long shot but he was trying to make her feel better

"No, it’s fine."

Tatsuya smiled in delight at being allowed to stay closer. "Would you like to be friends, Reira?" he asked curiously, "you'd probably like having friends your age."

"That’s good. I recommend the candyland one. It was…" Yuzu stopped in mid-sentence. She forgot that her mentor wasn’t here anymore. "Sora’s favorite field." Yuzu said softly. She just hoped Sora would return soon.
