Ghosts, ghouls and other scary stuff in the Popeye cartoons. Mostly SHIVER ME TIMBERS (1934), plus GHOSKS IS THE BUNK, both from Fleischer, and a few things from the 50s and 60s.
Unlike their Betty Boop cartoons, Fleischer’s Popeye shorts didn’t feature much surreal horror. These are pretty much the exceptions.
