I NEED HELP TO PREVENT HOMELESSNESS

I’m really fucking scared. The court date for eviction is the 20th. My power is about to be shut off during the worst heat wave in years. I have nowhere to go. I don’t know what to do with my cat. I don’t even have a car to live out of. I’m gonna be on the streets in 100 degree weather and no way to get to a cooling center.

I’m so so scared. I need help. Please please if you can, help

sharing some OC art! this is Cynthia, a deity oc i created.

some fun lore:

- when born, she was automatically deemed protected by a group of lion deities. these deities could transform human and usually did so when handling cynthia.

- the deities in question live on a golden savannah, and they also have children. these children take the form of lion cubs when they are in their godly forms.

- they LOVEEE cynthia. as a baby they parade her around to other gods like “look. this is under MY protection” (squishes her little baby face) “see she’s giggling. she likes me.” and they all argue over who’s her favourite

- “super god mode” forms of these would likely be chimeras, or have a lot of wings+eyes.

- after cynthia’s mother dies and cynthia is gravely injured, to protect the promise made to her for protection they bless her with a sliver of their power. this is how cynthia becomes a lion-centaur.

- cynthia is grateful for them saving her life and like her mother before her, decides to live with them. she is given divinity status.

- cynthia is approached by a minor god. he is required by the higher powers to go to a specific location, an island, to retrieve a divine artifact. (workshopping this)

- during their long search, Cynthia ends up falling for the god in question, Kryptos.

- Kryptos is aware of this and plays into it.

- Cynthia finds the artifact, though Kryptos quickly gains possession of it. excited to get back home, Cynthia follows Krpytos to the edge of the island as he’s dragging a raft to the shore. Cynthia thinks it’s a lot smaller than the one that they crashed onto the island.

- as she goes to follow, shackles form around her wrists and her centaur-body’s front legs. chains sprout from the sands and keep her from moving any further towards the shoreline.

- she looks up in confusion and hurt before seeing the look on Kryptos’s face.

- Kryptos explains he wants all the glory from the gods, despite the fact Cynthia likely would’ve let him take all the credit had she been asked.

- to prevent her from breaking free and exposing him, he curses her to be trapped on that island. if she walks past a certain point toward the shore, the chains will just shoot out and connect to the golden shackles now permanently connected to her.

- she can roam the island freely, but she cannot leave it.

until she meets a man who’s lost everything.
