Peachy Oolong
I'm more than meets the often-immediately lovestruck eye. I'm a panderer of your baser instincts, my full-bodied aroma an illuminated lure reaching out to your most primal desires. Let's strike up a conversation of careful sips, peaches, sunflowers--you'll find me deep and dark, Formosa-oolong black, and aggressively fruity and floral.
Are you in love with me yet?
This means war.

Have to have a good book with some tea.
Tea is the stuff of the heavens.

What are the downsides of preparing tea from a bag?
A lot of the downsides with preparing tea from a bag comes, not from the vessel used to steep the tea, but rather a type of tea typically put into a teabag. Usually when you get a teabag, the tea inside is low-quality, whether it be small pieces of tea leaves or ground tea. Either way, the flavor of the tea is compromised, as the quality itself is low and the volatility of the tea's flavor compounds is exacerbated by the grinding of the leaves.
Tavalon is perfectly okay with serving tea using tea sachets, which contain loose-leaf tea, but we always stress to our clients to cap the container or bag the tea comes in so the flavor is preserved.
Thank you for the question, and hope you found it informative!
