Magical. Fantastical. Beautiful. I honestly have no words to describe this album, I didn't know she could better herself again and again in such wonderful ways. This album really means so much to me, and I didn't expect to be able to relate to so many of the songs, I was just expecting to enjoy the storylines and lose myself in the music. It really has provided perspective to so many aspects of my life and I am so grateful for it. I do prefer it to folklore as it's slightly more upbeat, but I still love folklore with all my heart. Late again - sorry - I really am in the car most of the time at the moment.These are some photos of the iconic era that was 1989!! I honestly cannot remember a day of my life where I haven't had it thought of course there were many. It is the most awarded pop album ever, it sets the standard for all pop albums, there really could not be a more famous, beautiful and catchy album in the world. She really hit the nail on the head when writing this album and it shows. You can see how much she enjoyed it. You can see how much work she put in. You can see how much she cared about it. It's part country, part pop and it's just so perfect and shows her evolution as an artist. It has so so so so so many of my stan songs on it, it's my joint fav with Rep, and it's so underrated so I'm so happy we all celebrated it :) it means the world to me and it is part of my heart, it taught me so much and it's so good to jam out to in my room and I need my friends to listen to it cos they need to goddamn stan it I need people to dance with lmao.
