He didn’t just jump into what was practically an ambush to not be more concerned with how his boyfriend (not that the other guys needed to know that tidbit anyway) was. Cupping the spiker’s cheek in his hand, cobalt eyes were filled with a bit of (sort of) uncharacteristic concern.

        “I wasn’t about to let them beat you up, dumbass, I’ll survive.” Of course he was going to tough it out in the face of someone else watching him. Kageyama could given in to some pain behind closed doors after Hinata was safely at home
