okay idea: combine the two jealous meifiz asks. megan is trying to make sophia jealous bc she likes when people get jealous (and also maybe it’s kinda angsty bc maybe she’s insecure about if/how much sophia actually likes/loves her) and sophia who is so in denial that she’s jealous? thoughts 😁 idk if that makes sense tbh im really tired so idk if the dynamic really makes sense or if what i just said is like coherent (im very tired) but lmk what u think :P

also side note, i think this could be kinda interesting as pre-relationship or with them already together. bc maybe they’re in a situationship/talking stage or megan is just trying to figure out if sophia likes her back but i could also see it as early relationship megan is kinda insecure and wants to see sophia jealous. i could see her maybe being partially insecure over like a past long term relationship of sophia’s with someone her family likes or that she’s still on good terms with and her being kinda insecure over if she’s just a rebound OR megan feeling insecure bc she gets jealous and sophia never does OR a combination of both. ok that’s all i got for now

Okay I actually love this idea so much — I think this as a pre-relationship testing the waters thing would be a good setting for both angst and humor and comfort and all the things.

I particularly like the idea of Megan going to Lara being like I need to make Sophia jealous help and Lara being like good luck I’m not getting involved in that and it’s Megan’s odyssey of trying to make Sophia jealous when really Sophia is pining over Megan and Megan is a little blind to it

Do you have a favorite fic you’ve written?

Probably playoffs because it combines two of my great loves (meifiz and womens hockey), but I also really love some of the imagery I have in i'll come back for more (and you know i will)

Anyway, hoping to write a lot this summer so hopefully will have some more works!

clingy meifiz reminded me of something! sophia has said before she isn’t really the jealous type but megan on the other hand…lmao. i could def see megan being a lil jealous tho or maybe even sophia not thinking she’s the type to get jealous but she ends up getting jealous over megan perhaps 👀 do i hear a 3 times megan got jealous + 1 time sophia got jealous??

First pick overall in the 2019 PWHL draft and went to Montreal at first before later getting traded to Seattle

Plays for Switzerland's national team

When Sophia tried to come back and tore her ACL again, Manon called her for the first time in over a year and offered to skate with her— flew to Boston on off-days to help Sophia

Her and Daniela have lived together since Manon got traded to Seattle

I’ve been thinking about hockey!kats a lot lately

Shameless plug because it’s in the playoffs universe and that context is kind of necessary.

I’ve started writing a prequel fic about Manon and Sophia’s college rivalry for one.

But I also might write some snippets into my team dynamics with them, like a little series focused on each member of the team. Goalie! Yoonchae is so dear to me and so is defense! Marz and also forwards! Meizini.

And what about Megan taking Sophia skating?

had a thought today about the great gatsby and meifiz. thoughts? feelings? ideas? i can see them from a lot of different angles in that story, which i think is kinda cool

i could see a gatsby!sophia and daisy!megan or a gatsby!megan and daisy!sophia, though the events would certainly be different because i don’t think either of them would be the way daisy is to gatsby to each other

i could see them as gatsby and nick too! or just see them in a gatsby, 1920s type world as new money socialites. or maybe an old money vs new money situation? much to think about

I think I lean a little more toward Gatsby/Nick for them especially since I think I’ve talked about before on here how they give old money/new money. I think the idea of Sophia seemingly having her dream accomplished and Megan reaching for that constructed ideal is particularly applicable?
