hi friends, its been a while. i have this blog archived on a completely different account, so i don't see messages or anything bc it's not a part of my main account anymore, so imagine my surprise when i had to come to this account to find something, only to see that this blog is still actively getting likes/reblogs/messages.

like i said in previous messages, i'll never delete this blog. as long as i can help it, it will stay up as an archive of our crazy little shenanigans that we got to share all those years ago.

for those asking, yes, i'm still a hardcore insane tcw fan. barton hollow came up on my spotify randomly a few weeks ago and i had to get up and walk around my house bc it hit me like a truck 😂

and i'm still around on tumblr! this blog is obviously dead bc tcw isn't a thing anymore and there's no content to keep it up and going but if anyone wants to be friends over on my main, go ahead and give me a follow - i try to follow everyone back. if i encounter any john paul/joy/tcw in the wild, i reblog it there. @sculien

Hi Airi,

In this year 2024, I just wanted to thank you for not deleting your blog. I've lurked here since 2012, had kids, played and sang TCW to my children, then put my albums away when it was too heartbreaking to listen to TCW during the pandemic. My girls enjoyed Taylor Swift for a while until they didn't, then recently found the "Safe and Sound" video online. They unearthed my TCW records, and I am down this rabbit hole once again. It hits (and hurts) different after all of these years.

My external drive for fandom stuff recently crashed, and I found that I had lost a good 50% of the fandom stuff I had saved over the years. I was so relieved to find that your blog, though no longer "active," was still around.

i don't think i'll ever have the heart to delete this blog, it has so many memories attached to it. glad it still serves some purpose these days 🫶
