How to Recognise "Spellworkers" you SHOULD NOT Buy From.
For what it is worth, I do wish people would realise that if someone is selling you "spellwork" and they post the work they performed for you publicly, online, you should not trust that practitioner.
There are a great many oversights that are unfortunately common with New Age or contemporary practitioners.
When you post your spellwork for the world to see - either for yourself or for another person - other practitioners are capable of snagging the energies from the work you have done and feeding it to themselves. From love to luck, from healing to protection, these workings are able to be leeched off of and made null.
Posting these workings in wholly accessible places is unsafe.
Anyone can then tap into those photos and the date they were posted and redirect the spellwork for themself, sabotage it, or use that to attack the spell-worker.
I wish these younger kids were self aware or thought about these things.
It's one of those factors that, if you actually are doing "the work" and doing it "properly", you would actually notice and come across hurdles that are easily trackable.
Anyone who does spellwork professionally knows that follow up is important.
And follow-up is mandatory. Not recreational. You should be following to ensure that you are truly providing proper work and not just a placebo. Grifters are everywhere. And sometimes they don't even know that they are grifters.
Tracking spells for days, weeks or months is just part of the process.
So I wager that there are many people that do work and then drops t. Entirely.
However, if they did their homework and checked in with their spellwork then it is likely they would find a great many failures.
Additionally, any and all spellwork done by professionals for other people are rarely if ever done in just one sitting. If someone claims to be able to perform spellwork for you, particularly paid spellwork for you and all they do is light a candle in a circle of herbs that can be catagorised as a fire hazard, then they probably are not as experienced as they claim to be.
Professional spellwork is never performed in a "one and done" situation. They require multiple sessions, trials, and hurdles to navigate. Professionals will need to perform many different forms of preparation which may require many sessions with that spellworker.
Professional Spellworkers need a lot of time to prepare to even begin. There is a lot that goes into it such as:
Preparing through divination to see if they can even perform spellwork for you.
Checking in with your energetic system and other forces that could get in the way.
Checking in with your lifestyle and your reciprocity with what is required.
Due to client-based spellwork not being a one-sided relationship they need to know what you can do on your end as well.
They need to negotiate your comfort zones and expectations as well as determine if the forces and spirits that are working in tandem with you are going to harmonise.
They need to perform road openers.
They need to perform additional checks and wards that consent to your system.
They need to ensure that you are also following through with the work being done as it's never just "poof!" fixed!
There are a lot of factors that go into it before they even begin spellwork. There are whole energetic ecosystems that interact with and interfere with not only the work of the Spellworker but the experience of the client. And displaying that for the whole world to see is a great way to be ignorant to the ecosystem that we all inhabit.
If you are actually paying attention to the work you do, then you figure that out. And you figure it out fast.
But if you don't and you aren't focused on that, then it's just "Sprinkle some herbs, salts, and resins. Light this candle. poof it works." And ultimately that's just someone playing pretend without actually being dedicated to the real hard and grueling work that goes into performing spellwork for clients.
And it's not their fault that they don't pay attention. It's usually because no one taught them how to pay attention and what they are looking for.
Kids out here are cooking food and serving to people not realising they burnt it.
As a colleague said, there's a reason why mojo hands/conjure bags/charm bags are kept deeply secret. Anyone who really does work knows better.
And it's not always the fault of these newer kids. I get it. They're really trying to get their footing. But it's incredibly disheartening.
I'm not going to bother calling out the person that sparked me to make this post. But this post does come at the awareness that apparently this is something that is happening out there in the wilds that I never had anticipated coming across. They were kind enough to answer my questions though. I wish them the best of luck and hope for their continued growth in their pursuit to improve their skills and knowledge. And I hope this has helped bring awareness for what actual spellwork looks like when purchased by a practitioner.
