A fusion of two of my most favorite characters ever??? There are those who know that I used to draw Jevil a lot, so this was very fun to do! I tried to incorporate as much of Jevil in the concept but I think Blixer dominates the entire design PFT

I haven't followed JSAB in a while. I first learned about it in 2020 and then abandoned it. Luckily, I remembered it now and want to join the community. And by the way, I'm glad it still exists.

And finally, a question: how long have you been a part of the JSAB community?

Welcome! I am very glad it still exists too and I think it’s awesome that there’s still fan comics being made to this day, the creativity in this community is incredible !

Also I’ve been a fan of JSAB since 2022/2023 but I wasn’t actually active in the community until last year! I just lurked around until I decided to start posting artwork online again. Hah hah !

Hi tea! Feel free to discard this one if you wish as its just me being sentimental. Years ago on Instagram i was a young artist that had a habit of sorta dealing with my life stuff through deltarune. I fixated horribly on seavil, and while that in and of itself didn't end up actually helping me much (it kinda just ended up feeding my obsessive tendencies unfortunately) i will forever remember your seavil art fondly. When you had followed me back i couldn't shut up about how happy i was the whole day. You inspired me like no other artist has and your art still served me so very well. Please keep it close to your heart that you inadvertently helped a traumatized kid navigate the world with your art, and i truly do mean that. Thank you so much and have a wonderful life :)

Apologies for the late reply but it boggles my mind that my art had some sort of impact or inspiration on others, or that there’s people who still remember or even recognize me after so long, especially after I left for almost three years when I couldn’t bring myself to draw or post anymore when I lost my late sister back in 2022. Like it makes my heart feel soft and warm knowing there’s people who still remember my seavil/deltarune era fondly because I still look back at those times fondly myself !

What made you so interested in Just Shapes and Beats?

Apologies, I’m going to get sentimental here but I first played the game back in June 2022 with my late sister! It was one of the last games I ever played with her before she passed, so in a way it became a comfort source to me

I wasn’t as invested in it when I first played it because I was really into Deltarune at the time, but I remember us having so much fun struggling through the levels together. It was chaotic hah hah !

But I ended up replaying the game back in 2023 with my other sibling and that’s when I started really getting into it, I spent so much time playing through the levels and collecting S ranks with her. Eventually I tried my hand at designing the characters for funsies, so I have A BUNCH of old 2023 doodles and then I discovered there was a fandom !

So basically it was the gameplay and music that got me interested in jsab, then I started getting invested in the story and the characters
