things that should not concern u: - the length of a woman’s skirt - the tightness of a woman’s top - how many people a woman has slept with
things that should concern u: - america’s gun laws - that u haven’t petted enough dogs today - harry potter named a kid albus severus
So I was tagged like 8 million years ago (I swear) by @bibliochor to do the favorite mug thing.
My sister got this for me, it kind of explains itself.
I’m not tagging anyone because I’m lazy. It’s from society6 I’m not going to put a link since I’m on mobile.
Artist Buys Run-Down Chicago Bank for $1 and Transforms It Into Arts Center
I was tagged by scribbledwriting for the 20 beautiful people challenge.
I’d tag people but I’m not sure so if you feel like it go ahead! Also I couldn’t decide on a picture so I did two.
Also posting here since I was tagged twice.

What is apeiron about? I'm always a slut for fanfics that destroy you lol
Oooooh am I glad you asked me this because let me tell you about the best fanfic I have ever read. I’m assuming you saw my tags in the post about being a slut for painful fanfics haha and yeah…if there ever was one, this is it aND IT IS GLORIOUS.
Apeiron is a Loki/Avengers fic you can find on Ao3. It is the first of three parts that started on fanfiction.net and stopped halfway through part two to be completely revamped and moved to Archives of our Own. This is the fanfic that got me into fanfiction. Before that I kind of always sneered at it and thought all of it was horribly written (My Immortal, anyone?). So when a talented writer friend told me she was writing Loki fanfic, and that tealeavesandpages and I should check it out, I kind of procrastinated until Jess (tealeavesandpages) told me to sit down and read it–there was probably some swearing in there, too. Alright so I sat my butt down and blew through several chapters in one night, quick to learn what pain there was in being a fanfic reader. While I loved the original, I’m enjoying the rewrite a lot more. You can tell the author has a better idea of who her characters are and it feels as if I’m reading a real novel–only it’s agony having to wait for the next update.
So, here’s what it’s about:
Loki is cast out from Asgard, banished to Earth without any powers as punishment for his crimes that took place during the first Avengers film. Just like Thor, Odin wants Loki to redeem himself and prove himself worthy of the throne he thinks he deserves. This Loki isn’t your typical fanfic Loki. He isn’t sweet and romantic. He definitely isn’t thoughtful, pretty selfish (in and out of bed). And this Loki 100% isn’t just someone with daddy issues in need of a hug. He’d rather turn your necklace of pearls into a snake and watch you choke before being hugged by a Midgardian.
Desperately wanting to get off Midgard as quickly as possible, Loki begins his search for a special book to start the process of getting his powers back. His path leads him to a bookstore where Loki meets his newest victim, Raleigh Alexander. This is an OC character who has A+ characterization. She is incredibly realistic, sometimes annoying and unbearable, but you can’t help to fall in love with her–Raleigh is so real she could be the girl you know in school who takes all the AP classes but sneaks out of class with the stoners every once in a while to get high. There’s so much personality behind this OC that she puts already published characters to shame. And if anyone can tame Loki the Shrew, it’s Raleigh.
Their whirlwind meeting progresses into a hurricane of are-they-aren’t-they moments and my absolutely favorite moments of why-are-you-ripping-out-my-heart!? Together they encounter various Avengers (with an incredibly on-point Tony Stark and probably one of the most well-written Bruce Banners) in their search for this book, dodging not only S.H.I.E.L.D. but chitauri and plenty of other familiar foes from the Thor comics. There are so many twists and turns and by the end of each chapter you’re left feeling like this:
It is jam packed with research in Norse mythology and it shows well from the legends the story wraps around to the use of Nordic language. I often forget I’m reading fanfiction it’s so well put together. There’s humor, romance (the smut is gooooOoOood but not overpowering to where it takes away from the story), painful agony, tears, laughter, more tears, suspense, horror..like idk why you’re still reading this and not reading the story already?!

CHOOSING FROM MY TBR PILE
One day I will get the Swan Song tag filled with posts from the book by Robert McCammon instead of the one episode with the same name from Supernatural.
Seriously you need to read it.
