Went down the rabbit hole of thought of how Ashton loves Zephrah and how the last time someone fell in love with that place and someone from there, he was doomed by the narrative...
Thinking about Ashton's jealousy and complicated feelings about Laudna being able to smile, to appear like she moved on, to still love and be loved. Thinking about how the hurt and twisted parts of Ashton wanted to see her break, to show the real and ugly aspects of her trauma. Thinking about how she finally broke but Ashton was soft and gentle. He just kept telling her that it was okay, that the world hurt her first and robbed her of choice.
Thinking about how much more hurt and trauma they have to go through, but this time they aren't alone.
Something something Orym wanting to be soft and gentle with Ashton something something Ash telling him being rough hurts less
Have a lot of thoughts about the latest episode, but one of the major ones is how Matt split the party.
I wonder if it was deliberate, if rolls where involved, or other qualifiers, but the groups are really interesting and depending on how long they're going to be split should give way to some potentially compelling dynamics/moments.
Thinking about how the best friends are all separated. How Imogen is not only split from Laudna but also Orym and Ashton, as Orym has become another confident and comfort for her and how Ashton can be a voice of reason. But she is with the chaos crew which should be fun.
Also how Launda and Ashton were just discussing how Ash should talk to Orym and now they're all stranded together. Depending where they landed is also going to contribute to a lot.
Just very exciting to see where its all gonna go.
I think some underrated CR moments are when Taliesin and Travis are having their own little quiet convo from across the table. Every now and then you can see them talking, Tal making Travis laugh, or them doing little bits together. Its cute
The saddest part of the tomb scene is that while we know Vex will be okay, it's the beginning of the end for Vax. While she gets to come back it's at a cost, there is a consequence to this mistake and knowing it ends with the twins being permanently separated, it's heartbreaking.
Orym and Ashton becoming best buds- I'm winning
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS THANK YOUUUU
I liked the "smol and tol" dynamic of last episode
once again- WHITESTONE IS FOR LOVERSSSSSS
Whitestone is for lovers
I love how small they are
Okay- is Chetney going to love the craftsmanship of Percy or is he going to call Percy an amateur and a poser? Does Percy use too much metal to be considered a MC? Will Chetney be impressed by the Clocktower? These all very important questions.
Oh to be loved by Laura Bailey's PC
CAMPAIGN 3!!!!!!!!!! ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!
I like that whenever Orym does druidcraft Ashton reacts with “OH SHIT THAT’S COOL!”
