I know I haven’t been blogging a lot recently but I finally found Dandelion and Burdock tea! Not sure if this is the same one I tried at my friend, Ocio’s place a while back but I’ll soon find out!
It made a wonderful colour! 🍵😍🤩

Milo Meets Kida: Translated! (aka milo fails at atlantean)
Origin: Atlantean
“Who are you strangers and where did you come from?”
Origin: Atlantean
(HALTINGLY & with a bad, very american accent)
“Who…are you strangers and….where did you come from?”
Origin: Atlantean
“Your manner of speech is strange to me.”
Origin: Atlantean
“I….travel…friend!”
Origin: Atlantean
“…I travel friend…
(impatiently) …You are a friendly traveler?”
(does anyone else love how she’s correcting his shitty atlantean LOL bbies ♥)
Origin: Latin (look at this frickin dweeb switching into latin)
“So, my friend, I am a traveler!”
Origin: Latin
“You speak the language of the Romans!”
Origin: French (milo plz)
“Do you speak French?”
Origin: French
“Yes, sir!”
And for the record, Atlantean was written/created by Marc Okrand the dude who made Klingon.
So Kida and Milo are ACTUALLY talking to each other. Not just saying gibberish.
Milo: I know these other languages but I’m not fluent in yours yet please have mercy.
Kida: You seem to be an idiot but I’ll forgive you because you’re trying.
Milo = me, when I’m travelling
Trying out a free sample from Whittard’s. It smells very wintery - cloves and orange zest.. yum yum!
My free tea in cup infuser arrived today. How cute is he?!
Having a few cups of Mango and Bergamot herbal blend from Whittard's
I got these teas to try. Vanilla Chai has already been tasted so a review will be coming soon!
Rixie Reviews: Grindsmith MediaCityUK
Okay, so it’s a coffee shop, not a tea shop but they do tea! The tea in particular I got from the MediaCityUK location was a Red Lychee Tea which is brewed from loose leaf. It was really good!! Everyone who knows me knows I am a sucker for sweet tea, and this one didn’t need sugar. Light in flavour but still super delicious and not too pricey either. Overall a very top notch brew! The food on offer isn’t too bad either - I opted for a sausage barm because .. well sausage barms are amazing. Came on a toasted barmcake and the sausages were what they call “Olde English Sausages” and they were divine!!! The herbs in there worked perfectly and again not too bad on the price either. <3 The Grindsmith isn’t my usual spot, it’s quite “hipstery” but the food is good and the one tea I did try was good so it’s most likely going to be my go to from now on! I really want to try the Lancashire Soufle :O The staff there are really down to earth, welcoming and friendly too - my kind of folk and they don’t seem to discriminate their staff for hair /beards / tatts either which is freaking AWESOME. I’ve now tried most of their teas and WOW. <3 Vanilla Tea is simple but is probs my fave from here it’s so gooooood!

Rixie Reviews: Tudor Rose Tea Rooms
Located in the beautiful Port Sunlight village, the Tudor Rose Tea Rooms is a pretty local tea room / café. I first wanted to try this place just before Christmas, however it was closed and so after missing a train; me and my furry buddy FangSnowpaws decided to check it out. First of all it was warm, and the staff were welcoming and even offered to take pictures for us as I was snapping away with my camera; but sadly the camera decided not to take one (I did however get one of Fang sipping like a true British gentleman). Moving on THE TEA! So because this was a tiny little place there wasn’t many choices for tea but out of the selection I decided to have a peach tea; a black tea with peach and marigold. and I wasn’t disappointed it was fantastic! It was sweet and yet warming. I definitely recommend this one if you’re ever passing through Port Sunlight. Rixie Rating: 9/10 http://www.tudorrosetearooms.co.uk/

Rixie Reviews: Twinings Loose Leaf - Chocolate Nutty Assam
Good Lord! Just opening the back sent my senses tingling, I couldn't wait for the kettle to boil and brew this one up! If you are a lover of chocolate and nuts.. or both.. (Nutella fans delight) You will love this.. oh my.. so good. You can drink it black or with milk as is the way with black teas; I chose mine with milk but no sugar and my tastebuds are really loving it. It’s more nutty than chocolate - kinda like a warm watery cup of nutella with the strong Assam flavour coming in behind it, wonderful. The only issue I have is the price tag :( It’s quite pricey.. £3.39 for 12 pyramids.. usually I can get a box of twinings herbals / green for £2.50 for 24 bags.. so that kinda such. 9/10 - The Rixie Rating (minus one point for the expensiveness.. sorreh twinings!)
Rixie Reviews: Twinings Fudge Melts Green Tea
Oh My Gosh! I think that best describes how I feel about this tea. It may sound like a mad combination of things to throw together, but it strangely works. I can't really think of any words to describe it other than delicious and warm! It's like the feeling a mug of hot chocolate gives you when you're all nice and wrapped up away from the horrid Northern weather... with much less calories! :D I think I like this one more than any I have tried before, even more than the Cherry Bakewell Green Tea (review to come soon)! Rixie Rating : 10/10
I think this deffinately now means I have an addiction?
My lastest finds in Tesco... oooooooh
