ofcaspians:
“Oh.” Cas almost let out a laugh, turning to where the toilet paper she wanted was. reaching an arm up, he pulled the rolls down, handing them to her silently. “Sorry.” he said finally. “But yeah, it’s fine. just family shit. Didn’t mean to clue the entire grocery store in on the fact that my father is an entitled dickbag, but, it happens sometimes, I guess.” He began walking slightly down the isle, hoping Teagan would follow behind him. If anyone had to hear his conversation so closely, he was almost glad it was her, considering there was a good likely hood of her hearing it anyway considering how much she at his and Fleur’s shared apartment.
“My hero,” Teagan grinned as she retrieved the toilet paper from Caspian, then shortly falling into step beside him as he offered his explanation. There had been a time or two that she had been witness to a conversation Cas and his father, so she had at least a tiny bit of backstory. “Happens to the best of us, surely. Besides, I wouldn’t worry too much. There’s no way they heard you all the way in the frozen foods aisle, so at least you’ve got that going for you,” she joked, hoping to at least undo some of the damage that Cas’ father had done to his mood.
“World’s Most Beautiful 2017”
dtff-blair:
“well I would just like to give a warm hello to my new best friend” the girl said with a giggle.
“Well hello to you too. If I would have known my endless supply of mimosas would make me so popular I would’a started advertising years ago,” Teagan joked, flashing the girl a bright smile.
ovthomas:
“ahh, the jealousy of you keep surprising me. you’re just still offended that i didn’t dance with you in the middle school dance party. but when i think about it, that guy would be a perfect match for you. i’ll give him your number.”
“I am not jealous. I’ve since learned that I dodged a bullet that night. You did us both a favor of avoiding embarrassing yourself. Oh Tommy, you’re hysterical. But it sounds like he’s much more interested in you than he would be me. I don’t want to tempt fate now, do I?”
logan-r-fitzgerald:
“It’s just so frustrating because are people really that lazy where they just can’t put a book back in the right place? I don’t mind putting them back myself, because I actually like it, but I mean come on. It was kind of a quiet day today, not many people here than usual.”
“I know, if nothing else, we even have a cart where they can put their books if they’re not checking them out. I’d rather put those away all night than go on a man hunt for whatever ones are tossed carelessly on the shelf.”
jcyduncans:
He nodded along to what she had said. “Yeah. Reminds me of the time I was working on my college paper and some guy got pissed I didn’t report on his “awesome party” the weekend before. I was at that party, and it wasn’t awesome,” he chuckled. “Okay, fine. I’ve got some talent.” he said. Compliments, after all these years, still made him somewhat uncomfortable. “…Not quite The New York Times talent, but hey, maybe one day I’ll be there.”
“Well then he should have been glad that you didn’t report on how not awesome this party was. You did this guy a favor,” the brunette shook her head, a smile spreading over her features when Jay admitted to his talent. “Alright, alright. I’ll take that over you tearing yourself. One day you will be there. And then you’ll have so many good stories to cover that you won’t even know what to do with yourself.”
Alistair & Teagan | just friends, right?
alisxtairs:
alistair had just finished his shift at stratsbury fire department for the day and ready to reside home for the night without any inconvenience or anybody disturbing him. with his duffel bag strapped around his shoulder, hand holding onto the strap for better support of it. right now it was about 7 o’clock and he was at his front door of his apartment, taking his key out from his jean pocket, he put the key in the door and unlocked it, walking into his apartment. relieved and happy he was finally home. setting the keys on the kitchen counter along with his duffel bag which he placed on the rustic counter top before taking his leather jacket off to get himself more comfortable, placing it over one of his table chairs. he made his way over to the lounge room, everything was pretty much exposed together. it was dark enough already but because it was his place, he could make out where he needed to be like second nature to him. turning the tv on with his remote, he almost had a heart attack. “FUCK You scared me, teagan.” he actually jumped, getting a bit of a fright and quickly refrained his posture.
@tecgan
There were days where Teagan had felt at a complete loss. Where she felt entirely helpless, like nothing in her life was within her control, and these days recently came more often than not. She was generally pretty good at at least hiding her strange behavior, but getting it to subside was a different story. She knew she needed a distraction. That’s how she ended up at Alister’s apartment, testing each key on her key ring in the lock before finding the spare he had given her so long ago. The place was empty, and she wasn’t sure when her friend would return, so she decided she’d wait, knowing that when he did, he would make for the perfect distraction. It was only about 30 minutes before the door opened and while Teagan made no effort to move just yet, she knew it was Alistair. Sitting up in the dark room only after he had plopped himself on the couch, she couldn’t help but jump slightly when he jumped as he noticed her. “Sorry Al,” she bared a quiet laugh. “I didn’t mean to scare you. I just —.. wanted to see what you were up to.” Her excuse was weak, but she really didn’t have a better reason for letting herself into her friend’s apartment announced. She’d hoped she didn’t need one. “I can go if you want. Looks like you’ve had a long day.”
wtfdesmond:
Desmond wasn’t sure why he was so surprised when she actually agreed to come out with him. Sure, they were neighbors and maybe even friends, but it hadn’t gone far past that. A part of him was eager at the opportunity to get to know her better, but there was also a large part of him that worried he would ruin things if he wasn’t completely open with her. How could he expect her to be open with him if he couldn’t do the same with her? Desmond pushed those thoughts to the back of his head and nodded slowly at her words. “Yeah, go ahead,” he urged her gently. “I’ll wait by the exit.” He added after a moment, shoving his hands into his pockets before proceeding in that direction.
It took her a few seconds to actually move, watching Desmond as he began to walk away. She broke herself from her gaze, shaking off her confusion. Despite the strange exchange, Teagan looked forward to spending some time with her neighbor. Conversation with Des had always been easy for Teagan since day one; maybe it was because he wasn’t so entwined in her past, like most of the other residents around Stratbury were. He was relatively new, and that was so refreshing to her. It made the town seem not so small, and that’s exactly what she needed right now. Teagan went through the motions at checkout, only giving half of her attention to the cashier up until it was time for her to pay and take her few bags out. With a courteous nod and smile to the worker, Teagan made her way toward the exit, searching for her neighbor through the small crowd of shoppers coming in and going out.
diamonds
diamonds: how do you feel about excessively spending money?
“I used to be pretty careless, if I’m honest. But, after it bit me in the ass a time or two I learned my lesson and now I’m definitely a little more cautious with my spending. I mean, librarians aren’t exactly cashing in six figures these days.”

Minimalism. I love blacks, whites, and greys most of the time. Sometimes I’ll throw in a statement piece or something but I like rocking simple looks, I guess.
