what are signs of maturity?

There is definitely no starkly defined values for this but here are just some thoughts.

Not fearing vulnerability.

Including awkwardness, embarrassment, and facing your fears.

Being willing to empathize with other people.

Regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status, and other such demarcations.

This can also include other living beings such as plants and animals.

Compassion.

Not using yourself as a reference point for all of your interactions and perceptions.

Having the ability to entertain two contradicting thoughts without accepting one as being more true than the other.

This is contemplation.

Knowing when to change your mind and when to remain unchanged.

This can be difficult. It is important to be able to change our minds and be willing to evaluate new information and unique perspectives. 

At the same time, we shouldn’t be susceptible to manipulation, coercion, and groupthink.
