What I’m Doing

Hi everyone. I’ve decided that, considering the news about Technoblade’s death, I’m going to start this blog. 

This is, honestly, a pretty impulse thing to do. I have just always dealt with grief with creation. 

I saw something about the Technoblade channel unprivateing a bunch of things after his death. I don’t actually know if that’s true or not; I didn’t check. It did give me the idea to watch through his library of videos from the beginning, but that felt... lonely somehow. Shouting to the void here doesn’t feel quite as lonely and maybe someone will see what I do and like it too and then we’ll both be less lonely. 

So, I’ve decided to start live blogging Technoblade’s library of content from the beginning. I’m... around on tumblr. I’m around on A03. Some of you might know me from there, but I’m going to stay anonymous for now. I don’t know if that will ever change.

I’m going to try to liveblog a video a day. I am busy, so I might end up using the queue to make it happen everyday. I don’t know how long I’ll do this. Like I said... this is an impulse decision.

I'll be real. I'm bad at knowing what is an isn't good fps. They are all just numbers to me.

One thing that I always liked about Techno is that he's pretty rational and always seemed to want the best for the community he was in. This entire episode was about discourse that is a decade old, but the message that you shouldn't just complain to complain is still relevant. He makes it clear you can still criticize things that are broken but you should aim to do so in a way that pushes things forward instead of dragging them down.

Techno is like, I will play in a team of 3 on Blitz, but I will compensate by having my only weapon be bread. This sounds fair. (As you can imagine, it is not fair.)
