it got kinda long so readmore time

bruno’s sense of style is absolutely terrible. completely repugnant. just absolutely rancid. he has a lot of clashing bright reds, blues, and yellows in his wardrobe and tends to make things flashy and stand out since that’s always what he’d gravitated to. he likes things that stand out color wise but in terms of actual outfit pieces, they’re pretty normal in that they consist of just regular … clothes. they just look ugly. the same goes for room decor, in that if he had his own room it’d be hideous.

considering he always used to live alone pre-apocalypse, bruno can cook! while he’s definitely rusty because of how they likely didn’t have time to cook nor the resources, but he’s decent at it and enjoys it! however, during series he has a habit of over seasoning things a little since his sense of taste is a little dulled. he likes stronger flavors in general though. 

above all else, bruno is more than okay with the thought of dying for the sake of team 5d’s as long as it means that they can live in his place. 

when repaired / rebuilt, his senses are more receptive. previously, taste, smell, and touch were all dulled ( he still had them, but they weren’t very strong ) as pain could hinder the mission and there was no need for him to really eat even if it felt natural. now, he still is adjusting to the new sensations, as he’d gotten used to how he was before and needs time to readjust. 

following up: bruno doesn’t need to do most basic functions such as eat, sleep, and breathe. it’s not a necessity as he doesn’t need them to survive.

it’s technically near-impossible for him to die forever. his physical form could be mostly destroyed, however, as long as his data remains intact, it’s always possible for him to be recreated. his death in the series did not correlate with whether or not that data was destroyed, but rather whether he was still active. it was assumed that once he was shut off completely, he would never be brought back, so the miracle of yusei recreating him from what remained is a profound event. 

in his future, he was an only child. 

bruno likes painting his nails! he never really could in his future, so he does like to try a hand at painting them now. 

team delta consisted of people that were his friends from college. they weren’t actually close friends with him, but they were still the closest he had. he names his d-wheel after them because despite everything, he’s thankful that they were there.

yliaster was the first time that he felt like he was close to anyone.

bruno knows how to handle a gun. he’s actually very good at paintball!

all the time he spent and spends with team 5d’s. those were his happiest days.

▸     IS    IT    EASY    FOR    YOUR    MUSE    TO    KILL ? no. despite the apocalyptic situation and how hard it was to survive, antinomy could never kill someone. as a result, bruno can only would someone so they can’t hurt him. he doesn’t like to kill and never has. the most that had happened to antinomy was failing to help someone; failing to save a life.

▸   WHAT’S    IT    LIKE    WHEN    YOUR    MUSE    BREAKS    DOWN ? it’s an intense state of panic, a near frenzy, with body shaking and tears falling uncontrollably. it’s words being caught in his throat, other words coming out that are more harm than good that he can’t keep at bay no matter how hard he tries. it’s the horrors in his mind resurfacing and breaking him down until he can’t help but scream a scream that’s caught in his throat and hurts him to his very core. it’s agonizing, terrifying, fear etched into every part of his body and the expectations weighing on his shoulders once again. it’s a feeling that it was all for naught.

while i mentioned it slightly on my about page, i’d like to note that bruno does have a post-series verse. allow me to elaborate more on its details:

some time after his death in ark cradle, after the separation of team 5d’s, it’s nothing short of a miracle that his head is recovered by yusei   ---   the first of yliaster to be recovered and thus revived by the savior’s hand. his height and weight remain the same and has effectively been rebuilt to nearly the same conditions as his body was before. however, personality wise, he is influenced by previous habits and maintains bits of behavior he deems unsavory. 

in this verse, i’ll note that bruno is more chaotic than he was in the past. he’s more inclined to make jokes, cause mischief, and make bits of mayhem for the fun of it. this is due to the old bits left from how he was as johnny / antinomy. he is more outspoken and is a bit more capable of anger than he was before   ---   he’s less of a doormat, essentially. even bruno had his own dishonest moments where he could’ve stood up for himself but in this case, he’s even more honest and passive aggressive should need for that attitude arise. while still pacifistic and preferring to end fights with words rather than fists, he’s less hesitant now to throw hands than he was in the past. he is mostly unfazed when faced with a lethal situation.

along with this, i will say that he refuses to speak of his future unless you’re someone extremely close to him. he doesn’t want to talk about it nor does he want to be known for it. unless a character was directly involved with the destruction of the ark cradle, it’s impossible to know that bruno was a member of yliaster and is a robot.
