"You're evil, you know that?" Tate stated and laughed quietly. "There could be a shark out there, you never know. Or hell a stingray" he began to ramble on. "Do you realize how much bigger I am then you are? You'd never be able to save me." Tate thought for a moment before speaking "well...um, you know. Uhh, my friend...I guess you could call him that" he answered with a slight smirk.

"I am not. I am a very nice person. I am a teddy bear." She chuckled. "There is not, I have surfed a million and one times and I have all my limbs and the worse thing that has ever attacked me was seaweed." She smiled at him. "That won't mean anything until we get on land." She motioned to the cuff that was attached to his ankle. "That will keep you with the board and the board will always stay afloat. The water will make you lighter and I will be able to get you back to land. I promise that you will be fine." Her eyes grew wide as she started laughing. "You are a huge, pervert!"

Late Night Swim // Ethan&Teddy

Ethan smiled, “Great. Wouldn’t want to keep you waiting for me." he stated as he looked over at her. He listened to her response and nodded, it seemed like everyone had some better reason than him. At least more meaningful ones he thought. Ethan shrugged as she asked him what his reason was, “I just wanted to leave my home town since i had never done that so this seemed like a great way to do that." he answered smiling at the girl. “I heard our exes are here, is yours here?" he asked her wondering if everyone’s exes were really there.

She smiled, listening to his answer. "That's a reasonable explanation, a lot less complicated." She said, looking ahead of them. "Um.. Yeah.. Sadly mine is. I have heard that a lot of people's ex's are here. Have you seen yours?" She asked quickly, not wanting to stay on the subject of her ex very long. It was a somewhat touchy subject for her for some reason. "I'm starting to think that this is a trap to get people to talk to their ex's." She said laughing lightly.

Ethan had been bored since he had arrived and then Teddy invited him for a swim. He, of course, was up for it and started to get ready right away. Putting on some more appropriated clothes and grabbing his belongings he headed out of his room. Ethan made his way to the entrance where they were going to meet. He spotted Teddy already waiting for him and walked up to her with a smile, “Hey sorry i made you wait." he apologized. Ethan started to slowly walk to where he believed the beach was and then decided to get to know the girl, “So, why are you here?" he asked her.
