Ranpo with a female s/o who loves horror movies headcanons:
Ok so you love horror movies?
It certainly wasn’t a surprise to Ranpo
Just because you’re female, doesn’t mean you’re not supposed to like horror movies or that it’d be out of the usual
Movie nights with him become a source of entertainment to you, not just because of what’s on the screen
Yeah he has that nonchalant air around him, but when an especially scary scene arises, or a spooky sound rings through his ears, he’ll flinch, might even try moving closer to you, sometimes you’ll even hear a little noise of terror emitting from him (but of course he’ll deny if you tease him about it)
But, other times, when the movie does not seem that scary to him, he just sits there with a bag of chips, stuffing his mouth while looking blankly at the screen
He’ll definitely surprise you with some new horror movies he’s gotten you, he’ll try his best to get the scariest ones, and some not so scary (so that he doesn’t end up getting a heart attack in the process of watching it with you)
Let’s say you’re both cuddling on the sofa or the bed, after having watched the horror movie...every little sound that he hears will make him suddenly flinch, he’ll tighten his grip on you and eventually try to snuggle closer to you until he’s basically one with you
Tries to get you to stay awake with him if he’s scared, but won’t admit it, he wants to seem like that guy who’s afraid of nothing and so brave for his s/o. He’ll talk about the most random of things to his day at work and whatever it may be
If you end up falling asleep before him, he secretly puts the light on and falls asleep. In the morning when you wake up, you find it strange that the light is on while Ranpo is peacefully asleep
Let’s just say maybe a new horror series came out, instead of doing your work, you’ll both just chat about what would happen next in the next episode, but of course Ranpo always wins, unless you get it right and win with him
Sometimes when a scary scene arises on the screen, you both get scared and hug each other, trembling
If you were the only one to get scared, Ranpo will smirk, and pull you closer to him and cuddle you
Yeah, scary and fun watching horror movies, no?
