“o-oh my gods… jason..!” her bright green eyes widened as she scanned the man standing in front of her. the bright symbol on his chest. his hair. his mask. how could’ve she forgotten? as he smirked, she gave a cheeky smile back. “it has been a while, hasn’t it?” she looked down and saw his arms; they were covered in crimson blood that seemed to match the symbol on his chest. she looked sternly back up at him. “what happened to you, jason? who did this?” her concern seemed to be growing as she walked closer and gently took one of his arms in her strong hands to examine the wounds.

Upon inspection, it wouldnt seem to be his blood.. He shrugs, smirking at the alien. 

“The Bat…Got a few off on him. What brings a pretty lady like you around a place like this, Star?” 

He smirks softly, his face somewhat bruised and battered. His face still a rugged, handsome that’d be an acquired taste. His armor and jacket dotted with blood, a few open wounds on his chest and left arm, looking crusted but still in need of stitches.

“what brings me here?” she shrugs and laughs softly. “apparently, tending to your wounds so you don’t die of infection.” she observed his chest and his arm closer and her eyebrows raised slightly with urgency. these would need stitches for sure. as she examined the blood of others on his arms, she shook her head and looked at him. “yeah, can’t have you dying. this planet would have 10 times the population if you weren’t here to kill them all off.” star couldn’t help the sarcastic smirk she had creeping onto her face. “come on!” her hand was outstretched to jason. “let’s go!”

He manages a small smile and sighs lightly. Giving a painful, cocky smirk to Starfire as he takes her hand “You giving me a piggy back ride, Kori?”  He manages a small laugh, a small grin on the vigilante’s face “I owe you a drink after this…” He laughs, rubbing the back of his head “I’ve never been good at timing.. Or asking people out, so fuck it, you get my jist here.” 

He snickers before placing a hand on his side, wiping some blood that’d been pooling in a wound away.

"as a matter of fact, yes, i am giving you a piggy back ride. you're obviously going to bleed out quite soon, or at least suffer some blood loss. before we travel any further, we must get our arm and chest situated first."

star gives him a look of slight amusement and raises one eyebrow.

"come on, get on my back. we are going back to my residence. please, i just want to patch you up quickly."
