Jericho: She probably just wants to make sure she has an internship opportunity. It's a little ironic, but the more money you have, the more free stuff people are willing to get you. It doesn't make sense. If she does that again, please insist or tip her well and I'll reimburse you. This is true, but are you offering to go couch shopping for me?
Tegan: It's kind of endearing how you think that's it. She thinks you're cute. She wants your attention, not a job. I have kind of always wondered about that. Celebrities get all sorts of free shit when they could easily afford it. Are you offering to pay me overtime for it? I know it's mostly a joke, but you really do need a better couch.
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: You know my usual place that I get burgers from? They have my account there you can charge it to, get yourself something too. Listen come with my couch shopping if it bothers you that much, yeah?
Tegan: Last time I went there the girl didn't even want to charge me when she saw the name on the order. Have you been making eyes at the waitress? Slipping her an extra tip when you go or does she risk for job for everyone? You don't even have the time yo go home and sleep, how are you going to find the time to go couch shopping with me?
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: Probably. I think my couch is comfortable enough, what kind of problem could you have with it?
Tegan: What are you in the mood for? Please put a little emphasis on the word 'enough' you need to get something that is going to have you rubbing your shoulders when you think no one is looking.
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: Aw you would do that? Yeah I'm going to be here all night probably, thinking about crashing on the couch in my office actually
Tegan: Isn't that kind of my job? To get you things when you need it? You should probably look into getting a more comfortable couch.
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: Depends on what kind of trap you're referring to
Tegan: Nevermind, you just took the fun out of it. You staying much later? I can run out and get you dinner if you'd like.
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: This... sounds like a trap
Tegan: You think I’d trap you?
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: Idk where you are right now, but I'm telling you I can practically hear you pouting all the way over here at the office, so take it back.
Tegan: If you want me to take it back you're going to have to find me. And you can't ask security to look for me. You'll have to do the work yourself.
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: So stop pouting and take back what you said!
Tegan: I'm not pouting and I'm not taking back what I said!
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: Okay fine, I will never care or show concern for you again, scout's honor.
Tegan: Don't put words in my mouth like that.
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: It's not lecturing, I'm just expressing my concern!
Tegan: You're lecturing me, I hate when people lecture me.
jerichotamblyn:
There was a clearly defeated looking expression on Jericho’s features as she talked, but the laugh that followed as she drawled on about twenty drinks in an hour was far from missable. “Probably because you’re pretty drunk already I think.” he explained, taking a glance over his shoulder. There were two warring pieces of him, part of him more concerned about her ending up home in a bag, or not making it home at all considering her state so he gave in… halfway, “Maybe a drink, and maybe you can get yourself some water?” he offered, though he knew that she wouldn’t cave, “Oh so I’m supposed to take you home now? Is that the cost for running into you in public? Is that how it goes?”
The thought of going home didn’t appeal to Tegan. She’d had a long week, stressed between rejections and bad headshots, eight steps further away from her goals than when she arrived. Forgetting about her worries and cutting lose was the only thing she’d wanted and in her state getting home would be a task in itself but she always managed to make it safe. Tegan smiled up at Jericho, giddy either from the booze in her system or from the school girl crush she seemed to harbor for the man. “Only if you’d like, but I should probably warn you that I can’t exactly remember what my address is so you’ll have to settle for dropping me off in a general direction.” She was only half joking, she knew the general direction but her address still fuzzy. “How about this, I’ll get some water if you get a drink? Then I promise I’ll walk home after you finish.”
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: Better than me lecturing you about underage drinking, right?
Tegan: Does lecturing people get you off or something? You seem to do it often.
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: Doesn't the system dictate you have a couple of crap fakes and then one quality fake for if you actually need it?
Tegan: Are you going to lecture me on the kind of fake IDs I carry now?
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: Funny, something tells me that you have a few other fakes lying around. Never does any good to have just one, right?
Tegan: I actually don't. You think I have the money laying around to get more than one? A good fake costs a bit.
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: My obsession with new age technology wishes that were so honestly, but no. Do you think you work for a cop?
Tegan: I don't know, maybe you're just such a good cop that I've no idea you're one. Still, I think you should give me back my ID or else how else will I accidentally run into you at the bar?
jericho ✉ tegan
Jericho: When were you in my office anyway? And I really don't think that I should be supporting you having a fake ID
Tegan: I'm in your office almost every day. You don't think those papers just magically grow legs and walk onto your desk do you? What are you, a cop?
