You first met Kita when you were second years.
You were a part of the student council, specifically the secretary.
One day, you were organizing some files when a teacher went inside the room.
"Oh, Y/N. Good day to you!"
"Good day to you too, sir. How may I help you?"
"I was looking for the president. Do you happen to see him?"
"Sorry, he's busy at the moment. Maybe I can help?"
He told you if you can talk with the volleyball team and tell them to not practice late.
"Lately, they end their practices late. I know that they have an upcoming tournament, but they're still students. They need to take care of their health."
"Don't worry. I'll go to them now and relay your message."
You have heard of the volleyball team, but you really don't know about them because you're too busy with your duties. All you know is that your volleyball team is strong, skillful, and handsome (most of the girls would say).
To be honest, you were quite nervous yet excited to meet the team. What is the team like when they practice? Are they strict with their training? Or maybe a bit lax? Or are they competitive?
Once you arrived at the gym, you suddenly heard some noise from inside.
"It sounds like they're.... fighting?"
You slowly opened the door to see what was happening.
"What did you say about my spike you piss-haired brat?" - Osamu
"Are you deaf? Do I need to spell it out for you trash?!" - Atsumu
You were right. They're fighting.
Atsumu and Osamu (you know them since they have the most fans) were fighting with each other while Suna (who also has a big fanbase) is taking a video. The other team members just look disappointed at the two.
"So this is what the team looks like."
You weren't disappointed, just shocked. You never guessed that the team was this.... chaotic?
"U-Um. E-Excuse me." You tried to get their attention.
One of the members noticed you and panicked.
"A-Ah! Y/N. What brings you here? OI SAMU! TSUMU STOP THAT! THE STUDENT COUNCIL SECRETARY IS HERE!"
Of course, the twins didn't stop.
"Hey, you two."
The moment they heard his voice, the twins immediately stopped.
"K-Kita!" - Osamu
"L-Look, w-we were just playing r-right—"
"The student council secretary is here. You're embarrassing the team."
The twins immediately made their way to you to apologize. They were bowing their heads and screaming apologies to you to which you accepted.
You immediately recognized Kita. He is not much talked about, but you know him for his good grades and for being a perfect student. Despite not being a part of the starter in the volleyball team, you still look up to him. Not only that, even though he's not the captain, he is the only one who can handle the twins so your respect for him went higher.
"I'm really sorry about them. Not to be rude but, is there something you need?"
"A-Ah! Well, someone raised a concern that lately you guys are practicing late. I know that there's an upcoming tournament but please do not push yourselves. The teachers are a bit concerned for your health and that some of the staff have to stay late as well."
"I see. Don't worry. We'll make sure not to practice late. Please thank the teacher for the concern." As Kita bowed to you.
You blushed a bit on how respectful and understanding Kita is. For sure that your respect for him grew even higher. In fact, you might have developed a tiny crush on him.
"No problem. Please take care of yourselves!" You bowed back.
Kita thought that the conversation was done but you didn't move an inch.
"Umm, is there something wrong?"
"A-Ah! Sorry it's just that you really have my respect, Kita-san!" You suddenly said.
"W-What?"
You realized what you just said and immediately regretted it.
"I-I'M SORRY FOR SAYING SUCH A THING! I'LL GO NOW, GOODBYE!" Then you ran.
"Ohh, Kita has an admirer~!" - Atsumu
"Quiet down, Atsumu. Extra lap for you tomorrow."
"WHAT?" - Atsumu
"That's what you get, Tsumu." - Osamu
"You too, Osamu."
"What?"
As Kita went back to cleaning the volleyballs, there was a slight blush on his face.
"I hope we can become closer." Both of you thought.
I headcanon Semi will take you to a nice and simple picnic date as your first date.
he leads you to your picnic place with a blindfold (he told you it was a surprise).
once he removed your blindfold, you felt your heart warm just seeing the set-up of the place.
the picnic was placed under a big tree to shade it from the sun. a red and white checkered blanket is settled on the ground and lots of food and drinks (juice) were laid out. basically, a simple yet perfect picnic date.
"I-- This is.. Just wow, Eita. This is amazing."
"I asked my mom to help me make the food so don't worry about getting food poisoned."
the date consists of you guys just talking, eating, and laughing-- stories, jokes, the future, and more. it was a very relaxing and perfect date.
of course knowing Semi, that is not the only surprise he prepared.
while you weren't looking, he took out his guitar from behind the tree.
"what's the guitar for?"
"oh. well, i just thought we could sing some songs."
you immediately agreed (who wouldn't?).
as we all know, semi is a great guitarist. not only that, he also has a very pleasing singing voice.
"you know, you might be able to join or even create a band!"
"really? you think so?"
"I know so!"
all throughout, semi played and sang while you just listened and hummed along.
"hey, why don't you sing one?" (semi)
"w-what? what do you mean?" (you)
you know that you don't sing very very well, but by some miracle, semi was able to convince you.
"okay, BUT promise me you won't laugh."
of course, he laughed, which made him stop playing.
"oi! you promised you wouldn't laugh! I told you I wasn't good at singing." (you)
"I'm sorry! please continue!" (semi)
"no!"
"please? for me?"
"alright..."
you and semi just sang songs throughout your date.
what a way to end your date ♡
he may not have told you, but he really loves your singing voice even though it's horrible.
✿ Kageyama (this is actually inspired from a Haikyuu kareshi)
we all know that Kageyama isn't good with these kinds of things so you took matters into your own hands.
you remembered that Kageyama told you that animals don't like him (this is canon btw).
with this in mind, you thought of having your first date in a cat cafe to prove to him that animals are NOT afraid of him.
he had no idea what you planned for your first date so he was a bit nervous.
once you arrived at the cafe, he was very surprised (in a good way of course).
I think Kageyama really loves animals so the moment he saw the cats, he was very thrilled. However, the cats were the opposite.
Kageyama has this naturally scary face. Whatever his emotions be, may it be happy or sad, he looks scary which may be the reason why animals are afraid of him.
once you had ordered, you sat in a place where there were cats.
cute cats immediately surround you as they want you to pet them.
however, for Kageyama, cats immediately moved away from him.
"Tobio, you're scaring them away."
"W-What?"
You can see Kageyama trying his best to attract the cats to him, holding different cat toys, catnips, anything to attract them.
but he failed.
Kageyama slowly becomes disheartened.
You decided to help Kageyama as you don't want your boyfriend to be sad on your first date.
While holding the cat, you sat beside Kageyama on the floor (that's where he was trying to attract the cats).
At first, the cat you were holding was really scared of going near Kageyama, but you reassured it that he is a nice person.
"Tobio, stop doing that face! I'm trying to help you get cats."
"What face? This is the face that I was born with?!"
Nevertheless, you were able to convince some cats to approach him.
The cats were wary of him, but to his surprise, they slowly warmed up to him.
"L-Look! They're approaching! Look!"
You giggled as you saw Kageyama playing with most of the cats.
This was your first time seeing Kageyama making those kinds of faces outside of volleyball.
"Cute." you mumbled.
"Hm? Did you say something?"
"N-Nothing."
When you saw Kageyama holding up a cat, you immediately snapped a picture.
You were about to post it on social media, but then you realized many people will see this new side of Kageyama.

okay, I struggled with his for a bit so sorry if it's inaccurate.
Yaku was looking for a perfect place for your first date.
to be honest, he was very nervous as he wanted the first date to be perfect and memorable.
he was about to give up when something caught his eye. after checking the place, he knows for sure that you will like it as your first date.
you had no idea where Yaku was taking you for your first date so you were quite nervous.
"here we are!"
"S-Samgyeopsal? What's that?"
"I asked around and they said it's a type of Korean cuisine, specifically grilled pork belly!"
"P-PORK BELLY!?"
"Yup! and that's not all! They also serve different kinds of meat!"
yup, best first date ever.
while you were looking at the menu, you noticed something.
"Wait, they can serve unlimited meat?!"
"Really?! Then let's get that!"
as I said, best date ever.
while waiting for the meat, you saw the grill on the center of the table.
"hey mori, what's the grill for?"
"oh, we will cook the meat ourselves."
"oh."
knowing Yaku, he'll spoil you throughout the day. by spoil, he doesn't let you pay--
and doesn't let you cook the meat.
"mori, come on! let me cook! I feel bad for letting you cook everything!"
"let me spoil you on our first date alright?"
"b-but at least let me cook a little? I mean women should cook!"
"just this once okay? let a guy cook for his girlfriend, yeah?"
which made you blush.
"and you might ruin the meat so let me handle everything okay?"
not anymore.
"way to ruin the mood, mori."
the date was composed of yaku cooking and you talking.
hearing you share your days and secrets really made Yaku very happy.
despite yaku cooking all the meat, it was all worth it just seeing you smile.
at some point, you were the one cooking the meat so that Yaku could rest and eat some of the meat.
but not without Yaku berating you whenever you cook the meat wrong.
at least you guys were satisfied and full.

oh boy
when you asked him to help you study, he immediately agreed because he can spend more time with you (though he prefers cuddling rather than studying).
i think oikawa is the type of guy to study seriously at first but becomes lazy towards the end.
like when you guys start studying, he is so dead focused on helping you: answering your questions, helping you solve, and reviewing you with the terms.
however, after an hour, he starts to become lazy and whiny with you.
"we've been studying for an hour. come on! let's rest." (he just really wants your attention)
"you can rest, tooru. i'll just study for a few minutes."
" come on, please?" (with puppy eyes)
"sorry. just for a few minutes, okay?"
he would whine and pout at you for not resting (and for not giving him attention as well). you chose to ignore him, as usual.
but then he immediately becomes quiet the moment he sees you so focused on studying. he can't help but be mesmerized.
you were just so.... pretty.
he stopped whining and just stared at you with this soft look on his face with his palm resting on his cheeks.
you noticed that oikawa became quiet so you looked up to see what he was doing, only to find out that he was staring at you.
"w-why are you staring? is there something on my face?"
"oh, don't mind me. keep on studying."
you weren't able to study after that.
✿ Kuroo
you're doing great with all of your subjects except for one: chemistry.
why not ask help from your boyfriend kuroo who excels in that area?
"of course! what kind of boyfriend would I be if I wouldn't help my s/o?"
once you were at your place, he immediately started tutoring you.
"so, where should we start?" - kuroo

with a sigh, kuroo started tutoring you from the beginning.
i can see that kuroo is a really good teacher. like he can make those complicated chemistry stuff seem easy.
he would also share some of his secrets or techniques that no one, not even the teachers, know.
yes. he is just that smart (nerd).
the study session (date, as kuroo would call it) went very smoothly because of him.
"thanks, tetsu. because of you, i may ace the exams next week!"
"you're welcome."
suddenly, kuroo had an idea (a good one, he thought).
"say, if you score higher than me, i'll let you boss me around for a week."
"deal."
let's just say kuroo regretted what he said that day.
✿ Iwaizumi
he is the one asking for your help.
he's good with the other subjects except m a t h (that's what he said).
"hey, can you help me with math? i'm really struggling with it."
who could say no to iwaizumi though?
while you are so-so with math, you're confident that you can answer any questions that iwaizumi may throw at you.
how right and wrong you are
at first, you were able to teach iwaizumi with ease. however...
"then you just carry this over and that's it!"
"uhh.. i think you used the wrong formula."
"wait, really?!"
"yeah. for this question, we should...."
all of a sudden, you are the one being tutored by iwaizumi.
how the tables have turned
now you're the one asking questions: how to use the formula, when to use the formula, and how to derive the formula.
"wow, i must be so good at teaching to the point that you're the one teaching me, haji!"

poor hajime. he doesn't have the heart to tell you that the moment he saw the formula and questions, he was able to understand the lesson.
