Me moving on from Tony Stark’s death at the end of 2019:
Me 9 months into 2020:
ah yes they call me “No Queue” Jones because I post everything I reblog at once with no breaks in between and then vanish into the night for extended periods of inactivity
Important things I’ve learned from fanfics:
- Pay close attention to the local coffee shop’s barista, chances are they are the love of your life
- Pretending to be in a relationship to make someone jealous will probably work, just maybe not in the way you expect it to
- If you are going to listen to people’s conversations behind doors, LISTEN TO THE WHOLE FREAKING THING
- Make sure the person you are talking in your way to a job interview is not your future boss
- Shower sex is actually possible
Léo Major
This is no actuality but I read a post about WWI and WWII on @allthecanadianpolitics, so here’s one about a hero from Quebec, that not a lot of people know but should.
Léo Major was part of the Régiment de la Chaudière during WWII. He went with them on a mission in the city of Zwolle in Netherlands. The population is around 50 000 people, occupied by a strong resistance of Germans in March and April, where around 50 Canadian soldiers lost their lives each day.
Léo Major was sent with his friend Willy Arsenault gather some informations about the enemy. Willy got shot, and Léo decided to carry on his “mission”.
He started by throwing in the city multiple grenades and shooting everywhere, scaring and killing some Germans. He captured some, bringing around eight to ten to his camp, going back to the city again, and again.
He killed 4 of the 8 officers in the Headquarter of the city, where the 4 others escaped.
In the morning, all German troops were going and the city was free from the Nazis.
That is one story from many of this man. He lost an eye and escaped the hospital to go back to war. He also refused a medal from his General because he didn’t like him (he already received two of them “DCM”).
For anyone who hasn't read this article, don't.
It's framing is disingenuous at best and flat out false at worse. The Huffington Post is talking about cash-for-access events, in which, yes, Jagmeet Singh has only attended one.
There's been a lot of fundraisers this year, that Jagmeet has also been at this year. They're just free to attend.
Don't let the media paint Jagmeet as a lazy leader. He's been working hard, and it's starting to pay off. A new poll from Nanos STILL has the NDP in solidly third. Up 1.4% since last week, as the conservatives and Greens have been falling.
Today is a good day to donate to the NDP. Either to a local candidate in a competitive race or the party itself.

“we’re ruining the planet” i’m sorry who is this we i don’t recall myself running a billion dollar oil business
hey please remember that halle bailey, the actress cast to play ariel in the upcoming live-action remake of the little mermaid, is NINETEEN (19) YEARS OLD and throwing around the names of all these grown ass men in their literal thirties who yall apparently think should play prince eric is fucked, cease and desist immediately please.
Y’all I know for a fact without even looking that this is already been said but I want to say it again.
The epilogue of the Hunger Games trilogy is perfect because at the beginning of the first book/movie is the scene between Katniss and Gale where they’re talking about the games and how many times their names are in the reaping bowl and Katniss says to him, “I’m never having kids.” And it’s because she would never want to bring another child into the world of poverty and death and fighting games that they were living in and little did she fucking know, she and her own loving sacrifice for a child and then for a boy in the games would pull the rug out from underneath society and cause the world as they knew it to come crashing down. The epilogue is of her and Peeta and their babies and it just makes the entire story come full fucking circle and shows how much better their world became. The starvation, the games, the death, the pain, the sacrifices, they’re were all so that she and everyone else in panem could be safe and secure enough to bring new life. Its not just a happy ending like yey Katniss and Peeta lived happily ever after and they had babies. It’s so much more important than that.
Thank you.

me walking into the theaters to see the new batman movie while wearing a team edward shirt just to piss off men
Pattinson is the perfect actor for the role.
OK but this is literally so funny bc when I used to give lectures on Romanticism, I would ask the kids what pop culture characters they thought fit the idea of a Byronic hero, and without fail the two most mentioned characters were Edward Cullen and Batman. Amazing.
i feel like im in the sims where it takes 5 hours to make pasta and then u have to immediately go to bed
