Fight or flight?

Hama relies more on the 'Flight' than on the 'Fight', mainly because she knew well than to use her Madness ability carelessly, unlike most of her comrades. In fact, she knew she will only use them as her last resort and if she have to rely more on escaping with a win-less situation, then she will do just that.

It seems she is aware when or when not to use her Madness, knowing full well what will happen if it goes out of hand. Besides, she have seen her comrades do it and they were careless, so why would she follow their footsteps and do hers when no one is watching?

Or, at least, when she knows she could still get out alive to live another day, that is.

                                              Was this some sort of sick joke?

      If so, it was simply far too cruel, even by Louise’s own nonexistent standards.

      The ground shone with the reflection of glass shards, stained crimson with blood that steadily dripped off her fingers. The frame lay discarded where she had thrown it. All of this was forgotten, shoved aside in favor of the photo that stared — no, laughed — mockingly at her from beneath the remains of the picture frame. 

               ——Stained glass eyes, hair the color of singed paper, and skin that smelled of ash and blood.

      No matter how many times she tried to forget it, it seemed that her past would always come back to haunt her.

      Steady, now. Pulling out her gun, Louise aimed it at the portrait of a woman who still terrorized her dreams. 

      Bang.

      Bang.

——It was far too similar to that gunshot ten years ago.

      Are you happy now, mother?

     Louise whirled around at the sound of approaching footsteps. Composing her features, she lowered the smoking gun.

      “What are you doing here?”

She couldn't help but raise her brow at the sight- or, rather, the fact that she's in some stranger's place for practically no reason at all, should really stop running away like mad in the first place- as the brunette only stared at her for a few moments.

Just a few moments, really.

"I don't know, you tell me." She replied with a small shrug, not even bothering to hide the lie on her statement. They'll know sooner or later, anyway, so why bother? "But, seriously. What ARE you doing?"

Well, she is curious, if only a tiny bit. A gun? Gunshots? Messy place? Yep, any normal person would ask that. She's normal.

"I guess I am. I don’t even know why I’m talking to a traitor like you." she smiled, tilting her head a little closer to her. ”Then again, if you were gone, who would provide such entertainment to us. You act better than a clown or a joker~!”

Nope, turn your back and ignore her, she's talking crazy talk again. Don't talk to strangers, someone told her, don't even entertain them. She seriously need some sort of medicine or whatnot. And what 'traitor', the only traitor around here is the one talking to Hama, traitor to her own words of leaving her alone.

How boorish.

"Yes, now goodbye."

" We’re in the same boat, just so you know. You’ve lost your memory and I lost someone important to me. The other’s are hopeless, they don’t even know how to plan properly much less fight—-but you and I are different. We can still make something of this situation if we work together."

" So what do you say, Hama? Join me and we’ll make this city into our own. Of course, I do have plans for the other exiles. They still have some use for now."

Being the most sane person (and the one who knows her name, apparently), she do have no choice after all but to tag along with her. Like a lost duckling adopted by wolves. Or something like that. It seems she knows what she's doing and know something about her so, why the hell not?

"I don't really have a choice," She said in a less-than-tenacious tone of hers. It doesn't sit right, for some reason, but who is she to question? "You seem to know what's best so I'm going to tag along."

I'm an OC blog based on this tabletop game called 'Don't Rest Your Head' and, currently, my dash is dead and I haven't roleplayed a single one for a month. I need to get up to speed with this character since it's a waste if I leave her like this. Uhm...
