Okay, so Ice Man was already suspicious right off the bat so… he’d come back to that one later. He was hanging out with Tengu’s stupid manimal boyfriend anyway, and that wasn’t something he was about to touch with a 50 foot arm-span, or pole, or however the saying went. 

It didn’t matter though, there were plenty of DLNs at the party! And on the off chance that he couldn’t get something to work with one of them for Astro, there was always the DCNs, who were kind of just like diet lightbots anyway, right?

Tengu had to change twice within the final two hours before the prom, and again about ten minutes after it had started, because every single time he thought Scorpio was going to sit down and take his haircut like an only mildy shit bug, he turned it into a fiasco like a completely shit bug. And Tengu wasn’t wrestling a crusty organic little bitchbaby in his nice suit.

Almost a fucking hourafter the start time on the invitations, Tengu, with his alien girlfriend on one arm and cranky, moody, pissed off, short-haired alien boyfriend on the other, finally show their snooty fucking faces at the gate. At least they looked fine as hell.

Naturally Virgo, being the flighty thing she was, had toddled off for some drinks and attention. Tengu let her go, but not without a pat on the ass. She has a nice ass, how could he help himself?

"Stop pouting, it didn’t hurt," Tengu grumps at his grump bug. He even put some extra little braids on either side when doing Scorpio’s usual thick dread-like braids, with cute green beads to match his eyes. "Think of how cute Magic’ll think you are now."
