*SNIFFS* All these talented people and they’re working with ME! I can’t believe it… Mike… Could TV Time still raise the roof? …No one says that anymore? I’M OUT OF THE LOOP? No, no, no. That’s not right at all! Someone check what’s popular nowadays! NO, YOU CANNOT ASK QUEEN FOR HELP.

Amongst all of our new faces, Wren makes for a familiar one! She’s one of the people that puts the “Ike” in Mike and Ikes! Of our many scripts that pass through the studio everyday, she makes sure that only the best reach me! Isn’t that so considerate !

Many a’concept artists have drawn me, but how many can say that they’ve drawn *for* me?! Of the bunch of bananas that work for me, here are the first of the harvest!

Wait, Grass is an illustrator for us? I thought that they were some addison who snuck into the studio…Oh, well this is awkward…Grass is one of our illustrators and is never disappointing, and is always making sure that our comics are the best that they can possibly be!

Mikey is a man after my own heart, a fellow machine! They’re one of our talented artists, AND one of our writers that keeps our studio running! I think I’ve seen them running between our writing and art department at least four times a day! Talk about commitment!

Audio is our resident painter, and always comes to work with a new cat or muppet that they’ve drawn, it’s very impressive! (Between us, I think that they have a preference for the muppets because they’re felt too.)

We’ll have more bananas to show from our bunch so don’t forget to TUNE IN NEXT TIME FOR MORE! I’ve heard that next week we’re going to be showing more of our TOP CHOICE BACHELORS FROM THE DARK WORLD!

The Mikes have gone through all the fan mail, (...most we’ve had in years…) and have chosen from our very impressive group of applicants, and now we at TV Time Entertainment would like to introduce you to our latest team members! 

For those of you who’ve been following our development for a while, you’ll remember Laine and Lizz! Laine is our project head and Mike’s right hand Ike, and is the reason why I’m still on the Dreemur’s TV Cabinet, otherwise Toriel would have thrown me out years ago! Lizz helps us to keep our paperwork going and makes sure that our notes don’t get lost. If only I had them a few years ago, then maybe I’d still have…that contract. Oh well! There’s no use crying over it!

And now, for the first of our new team, we have Paige and Kristal! 

Paige is one of our scriptwriters and makes sure that I look my best at all times, hey, why’s Mike running away with a typewriter? Anyway…Kristal is next up, and she’s one of the Lightners we hired to keep us looking fresh and sparkly!

Q: What time period is the project based on? A: Our project aims to emulate the aesthetic of late 90s/early 00s video game guides.

Q: Am I limited to retro games when I make my game concept? A: No. You are free to take inspiration from modern video games as long as you present them in the retro aesthetic.

Q: How should I format my portfolio for submission? A: You may link us to a website where your work is posted or you can collect your pieces in a Google Drive folder and link that. Whichever method you choose, the most important thing is that your artwork or writing is easily and immediately viewable. For example, it may be difficult for staff to find your work on your Tumblr if you post and repost a lot of other content there. Please do not link paywalled content. It will not be reviewed.

Q: Are there any specific game manuals this project is using for references? A: We’ve taken inspiration from manuals for the Earthbound series, Moon: Remix RPG Adventure, and Animal Crossing (specifically Wild World and City Folk). But there are many more amazing game guides out there!

Q: How will shipping be handled? A: Shipping arrangements will be handled by Laine, our project lead. She is based in the EU, so prices and delivery times will likely be influenced by that. We will have more information to share once we are closer to the beginning of production.

Q: What are the art standards for applicants? A: Art is so subjective that this is difficult to quantify. If the staff likes your work and believes it fits the vibe or fills a niche that we need, we will definitely consider you. The only real way to find out is to apply!

Q: Where can I ask further questions about the project? A: You can submit asks on the tennaproject Tumblr or send us an email directly at [email protected]!
