âI did not see because I did not wish to see.â
PRINCE OF EGYPT STARTERS! | SELECTIVELY ACCEPTING!
â Whoa, hold up â don'tchya think youâre beinâ a little too hard on yourself here? âÂ
A frown begat by the vestiges of bemusement sets in, marring the prior grin that had proclaimed the soft contours of his face. The timbre is some deal brazen, another half concerned, but above all else, authentic in its ubiquity.  He knew all too well what pushing oneself past limitations was like ( and more than once had the damning monicker ârecklessâ fallen from his comradesâ lips ): Caeldori was, in her on right, a different sort of audacious â she wasnât the loud and brash type as he; rather, she was the kind that worked herself to the bone before taking notice that her body was screaming for relent â at least, from what he could tell ( heâs never been one to colour himself as some kind of mind reader, of course ).
â I mean, yeah, you made a bad call on the battlefield, but that just means you wonât make the same mistake again, right? â
Granted, he isnât the most knowledgeable about pegasi, either, but he knows a pulled muscle when he sees one â and he also knows that sheâll probably be quick to reprimand herself for straining her mount in any such way.  â Donât beat yourself up about it! â  A heartfelt hand claps her shoulder in an attempt at reassurance; a wide smile, beaming, accompanies the gesture.  â 'Sides, the sooner you get past this, the sooner we can get back to really sparring. Itâs no fun when you donât bring your A-game. â
